I start a lot of stupid threads here, some for fun and some because I am searching.

At 6 or 7 a concept of (annihilation/where was I before I was born),,,, came to me and to be quite honest, annihilation scared the crap out of me, to this day I don't handle those thoughts well, I just can't explore that reality. I was raised Catholic.

I know the bible is only a historical text pertaining to the old testament. The major block in my thinking. is how I was raised. When I think outside of "God" realm's it makes me think I am doing something wrong. Even though I know it doesn't matter, I will always feel guilt thinking outside the box. I look here for different thoughts to support me or educate me.

When I think of Jesus, he is either divine or a twin. If you believe the people who saw him 3 days later. I am sure someone else has come up with this. But it is the only two things possible if you take seriously the witnesses to seeing Jesus alive 3 days after he was crucified.

They didn't recognize him FUJB, I doubt he looked the same. Thomas also didn't think it was Jesus in his presence.

They walked the countryside talking to this man but they did not recognize him again. If you believe the story, you might think about Jesus resurrecting but looking like a different person…not sure how it makes a lot of sense but then the bible doesn't make much sense anyways which is why I stopped reading and believing.
