MBSL/SSL Roundup (1 Viewer)

IDP - Well, Porter did his normal job of completely vanishing after a big game, leaving Aaron Rudnicki out to dry. Rush made an effort, but I hold the top spot to take immunity next week.

PDSL - No change at the bottom, ConstruxBoy is Out.

Rzrback takes the top spot for immunity.

TLSL - Radballs got 14 points out of his Mon Nite players, but it wasn't enough. He's Out. Sinrman also holds on to the top spot for immunity.

SSL - Capt Hook we knew about. FFDude and Rush got some points to survive. Master Shake didn't, and is out. Glumpy got a lot less than Bundy1, so he's out. Hear-the-footsteps was in the same boat, and is out as well.

Up top is Andy Griffith, Tex (High for the week), Winston Smith, and Uruk-Hai

MBSL - BassNBrew was a week early complaining about his futility. He's out. The Ref gets enough to squeeze above Frank Black, who is now out. As for IV, neither GoCats nor Eraser got enough to climb out of harms way. We now have the first tie of the year.

For those new to the leagues, Ties are broken by comparing the top player score NOT used in the final score. Eraser's top score not used is 7 by both his non-Chicago D's. GoCats, who actually has 2 QBs who score points, has a 13 thanx to Leftwich. Eraser is out.

OldMilwaukee, Fullback Fro, and Shadowmaster have immunity next week, amazingly duplicating the top three from last week.

III will have it's first booting next week, and Rzrback better get moving, or he will be gone next week.

WSL - No changes at the bottom. Duke1948 and Bri are out. Shadowfax and Atomic Punk take the top spot.

We've got Byes to start dealing with next week, so Good Luck all.

TLSL - Bass or Radballs are the ones in danger, but, if they can score some points, there are a lot of people in reach. Rad has Holmes and Reggie WIlliams( -3 & -9) and Reed(-16). If he can get some points out of those WRs, Bass is next up with probably no QB(Big Ben straight) and Taylor & Haynes (-10). The next group starts 11 pts above bass and has 5 guys within 8 pts. Probably won't happen for one of the two, but it's possible.

IDP - Right now, we have one of our Staff IDP Gurus on the hot seat. Rudnicki has just Porter(-9) (As a touch of irony, the 9 pts he needs Porter to beat was one of his strong plays for the week, Barton, who was the weakest of his 4 used LBs ;) ) Beto, 12 up, still has Haynes(-8) and Foote(-5). I Think Aaron is out, since Porter had his blow up game last week, but it is possible.

Self Back-Pat as I'm on top for immunity right now with 3 players still to go.

PDSL - Construx is the bottom feeder here, down by 18 to the next. Now, he still has Davenport(-3), Miller(-6), Reed, and Jax(-7) but I don's see it happening, since everyone directly above him has a couple of players going.

SSLs - In danger are Capt Hook, (FFDude+Master Shake+Rush), Bundy1, and Old Milwaukee. Hook is done. One of the 3 way tie members will be the victim in II. III has Bundy1 with 3 WRs (2 straight and 1(-15) while Glumpy(just 4 up) has Parker(-3). I'm 21 up on Bundy, but I might be in danger there. IV has Jones(-3) v WIlford(-8) and Jax(-10) to represent OldMilwaukee v Hear-the-Footsteps

Tex's 180 is high for the week in the MBSLs.

MBSL - TeamRamrod/BassNBrew, The Ref, and Eraser are on the hot seat this week. Teamramrod and Bass are tied. TRR has Parker(-3). Bass has Wilson(-9). Bass will be happy his 1 QB mess is done. II will come down to Wilford v Wilson The Ref has Wilford straight. Frank Black has a 5 pt lead and Wilson(-7). Nightshift is technically in danger as well, but he has multiple players going tonight.

In IV, 9 pts is the number Eraser and his 16 man team need, and Wilford and Lewis straight to do it with. Go Cats needs to get 3 as well, but he has multiple players to do it. Bruno2 is done, and his score is the one to beat.

WSL - Duke1948 and Bri are in danger here. Duke has Ward(-1) and Pitt(-8). Hook is basically done(Staley-10) with a 9 pt lead.

Bri also has Ward(-3). BicycleSS has a 10 pt lead, and Reggie Williams(-9).

thanks twilight I have a couple of scoring questions just so I understand.

shouldnt this be more points than 10?

PK Ryan Longwell MIN 10 ! FGs:-51,26,22,19 XPs:1/1 P: 1- 1-0- 16 TD:P16

how bout this for carter. he jumped on a fumble in the EZ and picked up the TD but only has 3 pts here:

WR Tim Carter NYG 3 C: 1- 22 TD:OFR0

Both of these are special circumstances scores.Per the rules:

Kicker Scoring:

3 pts per FG

1 pt per EP
Therefore, as much fun as it is to watch Longwell throw the TD, he doesn't get the pointsLikewise

Player Scoring:

Passing TDs = 6 pts

Rushing/receiving TDs = 6 pts
Specifies which TDs are scored. 0 Yd Fumble recovery TDs are not any of these categories, so no TD for Carter.Damn good questions that I'm sure are going to be asked in a lot of leagues this week, but that is the explanation of what is happening in the MBSL/SSLs

I can't believe this summary was up so early today...
Actually, it was later than I usually do it.Generally I work Sunday Nights. I get home around 11 or so PT, which is about when FLM finalizes their stats. I'll usually check my FF teams, then take care of this, then go to bed. It's usually the same story on Monday. Today, I left work early because I wasn't feeling well, came home, and slept for 6 hrs. Did this when I woke up, and will hopefully be going back to bed soon.

You're my inspiration... Again, nice job and

Thanks a bunch, and hope you are feeling better.

I'll be looking for Matt Jones to go off tonight to survive in SSL4!!!!

If not......

:bye:

See ya next spring!!!! :banned:

Hey Twilight,

I see my team on SSL I, but I thought I did a MBSL this year and am not seeing that team. Am I going crazy?

My vote is yes. Doing a quick search shows you have no posts this year in any thread with MBSL in the title. Did you use an alias? Which league did you draft in?

My SSL IDP team should scrape by this week.

The IDP part is looking weak. Hopefully they will turn it around quickly.

Ugh...my SSL2 team turned ugly real quick, :bag: last year, stud TE theory carried well in this format, this year, not so good. back to the SSL4 drawing board good luck to all.

I have never been eliminated this early in any of my survivor leagues...ever.

But what can I say when...

- my best QB is Trent Green = out

- my next best QB is Jake Plummer = absolutely awful start to the season

- my best WR is Steve Smith = out

I could go on, but why bore you all.

:wall:

Man that was close. MBSL4 came down to the wire last night. I knew I had a chance to beat Eraser with Wilford and Marcedes Lewis going, but I thought for sure Go Cats had it in the bag with FWP and Leftwich before the MNF game started. If my RBs don't start producing I'm a goner for sure next week, although I won't miss LaMont Jordan this week, he's been on a bye since week 1 anyway.

Ugh...really needed an immunity for next week. I was cheering for Fred to score a TD all night long and miss the tops with 5 pts. Week 3 gonna be a tough with only 1 starting WR to count on and Manning (my money maker) is playing the tough Jax.

Thanks a bunch again twilight.

Immunity for any week is great. But this week in TLSL it's nice in that I lose Bledsoe, Turner, Kennison, and McCardell. Not huge hitters, but any help is nice... :banned:

Wow, I don't have an alias, but I could have swore I did MBSL this year also. Guess it is bad when you can't remember all of the leagues you are in. :bag:

In MBSL 3, with Brooks on bye (what difference does that make?), Volek on a new team (Ditto), Branch (hey, he's back), Porter on bye (See Brooks), it looks like I volunteer to step off the cumulative island first.

I'd like to Wave :bye: to SSL4, without Alexander that team is dead.

Oh yeah, and the secret weapon Curtis Martin! :bye:
