MBSL/SSL Week 11 (1 Viewer)

Twilight

Footballguy
Not many changes from yesterday:

MBSL - Everybody I listed yesterday; Old Milwaukee, Rudy, LHUCKS, and Coordinator are done. And fatness is falling behind in 3, so he needs a big week to survive next week.

Up top, KNowledgeReignsSupreme, Wraith5, and AhrncityPounder are guaranteed to get to the final 4. As a reminder, next week is the last immunity, and guarantees a trip into the 2 weeks section.

WSL - LHUCKS got his 3, so Fiddles is out. Red93zj didn't, so he is also out.

I repeat my immunity, with Rudy taking the other.

IDP - Radballs didn't survive this time. Bundy1 guaranteed he does next week.

TLSL - All In doesn't come close to surviving. BassNBrew gets immunity.

SSL - Last night these were close. Today...

SKA managed a 7 pt improvement, but Preds got 8, so Ska is out.

Ravnzfan got plenty to pass Comet, who also got some, but couldn't keep up. Comet is done.

John Doe didn't get much, while everyone else did, so he's done.

And JMon348 stayed near the bottom this week, so he's done.

Rudnicki, Scruff McGruff (By 1 pt), Me (I had to look twice there, I was 5 pts from booting yesterday. It's a pretty pathetic score for Immunity, but I'll still take it  ), and Construx Boy are safe next week.

PDSL - Team Legacy is done, we knew. Rzrback77's immunity is the unknown that is now known.

Probably no write up on Thursday, but I should update the site sometime that night. Until then, everybody have a fantastic Thanksgiving with those you love.

MBSL - OldMilwaukee already wrote his obituary. Joining him is Rudy and Coordinator(the 2 lowest scoring remaining teams, which means the bottom half of the MBSLs are now all gone, no lucky stragglers), who are done for the week. LHUCKS made a decent effort to survive in 3, but it was just too much of a deficit.

WSL - LHUCKS and Red93zj are the bottom teams here. LHUCKS has a good shot at surviving. He has 3 WRs tomorrow (-3 -5 -16)m and is with 10 of 3 people. Fiddles is the only one that matters, since he is only 3 up with nothing left. Bye Fiddles. Red has Garrard(-7), Tiki(-21), Feely(-3), and NYD(-4) but a much bigger wall to climb, a minimum of 24. If Tiki didn't have such a climb to put points up, I'd say he had a shot, but I don't think it will happen.

The WSLs are really weird, BTW. This week, I'm the tops from League 1. The next 6 scores are from 2. And the last 5 are from 1. Which almost perfectly matches the overall scoring. Bass is above me, but 3-7 are League 2, and the bottom 5 are from 1. And of course, the weirdest part. LT is on dead teams for both leagues.

IDP - Radballs is low man, and I don't know if Reg Williams and Darius are enough to survive. Construx is only 6 up, but he has 4 players going, including Tiki.

TLSL - All In has a shot at surviving, but he needs BIG points out of Eli, Jacobs(-21), and NYD.

SSL - SKA, Ravnzfan, John Doe, and JMon348 are low right now, but there are a couple of close matches.

SKA has Reg Williams(-5) and JaxD(-3). Preds is 1 pt up, with Marcedes(-14) and Scobee(-5). Lean towards Preds going, but we'll see. In 2, Ravnzfan has Plaxico and Marcedes(-11). Comet is 1 up, with Wilford(-5). Another advantage to the one down.

In 3, John Doe only has Feely(-5). Again 1 pt up, Winston Smith has Eli(-11). I'm also in danger at 5 up, but I have Shockey still. 4 is the only 1 not close, with JMon still having Reg WIlliams and a 14 pt deficit. Blue Peep has 3 players still, so that deficit will grow unless Reg has a big game.

PDSL - No magic tricks for Team Legacy this week. He's done, and done.

woo-hoo

I finally got high score in IDP Survivor. Too bad I'm no longer in that contest.

:ptts:

In other news, the Guiness Book called. They want to interview Radballs for the most consecutive week on the chopping block record. :o

Final update up, and I think I'll risk pissing off Karma by tooting my own horn, because I'm impresse. Still alive in 4/5 leagues here  . The one league I'm out, I'm still 5th in points.

Care to break down your draft strategies? Anything you did that across most of the drafts?

But hey, your guys did what was needed for the week. Immunity this late in the game is huge. My team isn't all that great either:

One benched QB, a collection of blah RBs, underachieving WRs, and a kicker that doesn't even start anymore. Ruh roh!

And fatness is falling behind in 3, so he needs a big week to survive next week.
It'll be tough with only one RB playing (unless Tatum comes back). And unless Favre plays. And unless Jennings starts putting up numbers again. And, and, and................. I'm probably doomed.

This is the longest I have ever lasted in a Survivor league. Thanks for doing this Twilight. Good Luck the rest of you.

stick a fork in me im done in all 4 leagues

blah

good luck all

good thing anarchy goes through the end of the season

Wow,

I was too busy to check in yesterday to see where I stood, didn't realize I was in that close a battle.

To edge Ska out by 2 points is awesome, especially since he was #1 overal in SSL1 points, and #2 overal in all SSL leagues. As a comparison, I'm 4th in SSL1 scoring, and 21st overall. Wow. That's a tough beat for him.

Props to Duke for having his 3rd best week of the year, and staying alive to fight another week, he's 5th in SSL1 scoring and 37th overall. Like myself, every week he stays alive from here on out is an upset.

I'm also glad to see I'll be returning to SSL1 next year for a 3rd straight season, the conisistency (finished #1 in 2004, #2 in 2005, at least top 5 in 2006) is pretty cool to see. If I recall correctly, the ladder of promotions for SSL1 each year is the top 5 from SSL1 the previous year, then the top 4 from SSL2 and SSL3, and the top 3 from SSL4.

Anyhow, Happy Turkey Day to everyone, here's to another great SSL1 finish.
