What kind of bun to burger ratio is this? Five to one seems excessive (and hard to eat) ;)

Hit the "old" location last night for first time. You have a great restaurant Tipsy!

Ordered 2 meat combo and then went across street to pick up some B's. Came back and enjoyed a feast. Everything was really good. My meal in order of what I loved:

Sausage w/ Carolina sauce - phenomenal! That's the one that will want me coming back. Loved it.

Jambalaya side - also just great. Couldn't stop eating it.

Brisket - nice smoke ring

Cornbread - tasted good.

did not get to meet the portly self important owner, but the other staff was very friendly. Loved the eccentric art on the wall. would come back again.

I assume you're joking and realize the pork butt sammich is the holiest of all sammiches. :)

Mrs. Keerock: How long would it take to drive to New Orleans?

Keerock: 15 hours or so, why do you ask?

Mrs Keerock: No reason :oldunsure:

About 10 minutes go by until I realize I was wearing my McClure's BBQ shirt :pickle:
I was in Orlando lastAt the Kwik-E-Mart in Universal Studios Orlando, one of the many pieces of Simpsons swag available was a "You don't make friends with salad" Homer Simpson T-shirt.
Already leaving off new shirts. :kicksrock:
Replace it with "Portly and Self Important"

Seriously

You did it wrong BTW. 2 meat combo is not all meats and sides

Got a pic or two from tipsy yesterday... Holy #### that place looked like a party. Congrats buddy.

Looking forward to the final summary. Afraid to text him as he was pretty wiped last evening.

updates later....great party. tap room not officially open ....some glitches and permit issues with the city (surprise). kinda glad...we never got a soft opening and we need a few days to get our systems right.

I didn't sell every bit of meat....but we sold more $ than I had projected. Just a bad guess on meat needed for that. The guys getting sober over at the bridge house are going to have a killer lunch today :)

I was big on going to N.O. and trying your food along with going to an LSU game while I'm in the neighborhood. My wife was going along with the idea until I told her about donating the leftover food to the shelter. Now she wants to leave me for you..... Her social worker is very impressed.

Does this mean you didn't pile enough meat on each bun?

Congratulations and good on you: Bridge House is a great great place that helps a lot of people.

Ate at McClure's today for lunch before leaving town. Wife had brisket w/ red beans & rice. I had pulled pork w corn bread and Mac & cheese. Washed it down with a grape Fanta. Awesome food. Can't wait to come back.

Thanks for coming out @nopd All is well. Burglar surprised to see me at 4 am i guess. Glad I came by the home store for coffee.

That location was a muffin shop that got hit early in the morning few years back. I'm glad all is well and I'm really glad the Nopd had a quick response time, that's sometimes not the case.
