I don't want to be debbie downer or anything, but don't you think black font won't look as good on a black shirt? I know you are a t-shirt expert, so I defer to your judgement.Artwork for the back >

K.I.S.S. IMO.... that on a nice quality soft/semi-fitted t shirt would be in my heavy rotation.

Long gone (see link Again)yep...kill the LA. icon. Please.
Sold out again by 8 pm tonight. The articles today had 112 people in for dinner in 2 hours. And the pace was actually very easy.
That is an interesting idea. You know what would look cool is a tan colored shirt with black font...kinda like wood with the font burned/charred into it.

I'm sure Tips has thanked you but thanks from us. I look forward to sporting my new T.Moving quickly on shirts guys. My goal is to have everything online for orders and on press next week. I promise the shirts will come. In the meantime, tipsy: keep dominating with the BBQ!

This is Lang 2.0. It is their 108" version. I also still have the 84" on a trailer. I cannot sell more meat from this location in one day than those two can handle. I will only use the trailer at the restaurant if absolutely necessary...smoking on the sidewalk isn't idealAre you eventually going to upgrade your Lang? I think that's very feasable. Heard back this AM and they're aware that tipsy is parading through 250+ potential shirt buyers every day. Sooner these are on his shelves (and online), the better. Generally shirts are a one week process assuming ordering (in stock) and screen press time is available (They will move stuff around for us). Just gotta nail down pricing and base shirt.James Bond said:Any chance the shirts will be available by Labor Day? I will be down there right around then.

In for a shirt.
Is there a reason the line break in the back isn't:Proofs for shirts are in.
1) Yes, They have the new art with "New Orleans" only
2) They suggested two lines of copy on the back. I don't disagree and neil likes it.... HOWEVER I want to tighten up the leading a bit (space between lines) and move it down a touch.
3) I think Tipsy wanted more of a Hunter Green vs the brighter Kelly Green. Depending on the shirt type will dictate our color options. Tri-Blend are the #### but they don't offer a green. Price point with Tri Blend will likely be ~$25 and one step down (still a very soft nice shirt) will be ~$20 online. Getting both priced out.
They will handle all website, inventory management, fulfillment, returns, customer complaints, etc on web orders. Neil will just collect a report and check each month. Neil, you'll also get marketing data on customers (names, addresses, emails) if you wanna use that stuff.
These guys are the "do it right" types. Sure you can get shirts for $8 all day but they're on ####ty shirts you'll never wear and the white is a "single hit" (one pass) so it's not very bright. They will be "triple hitting" the white (3 layers of white ink) so it looks good and lasts. No, it won't feel all thick and heavy.![]()
Tipsy, I should have pricing for both bulk (in store) orders as well as online printing/shipping/fulfillment by monday. Kill it this weekend,GB.
Because the male form is an inverted triangle and you generally run a wider line on the top and a narrower line on the bottom. Is there a reason the line break in the back isn't:Proofs for shirts are in.

That is an interesting question.I'm just a fake lawyer, but do any of the real lawyers here see an issue with selling a T-shirt using a quote from the Simpsons? Woz told me that would violate the Erie Doctrine or something.
Some googling reveals that companies got sued for making baby clothes that said "Nobody Puts Baby in a Corner" back in 2007. I don't know if the production company behind the Simpsons are that litigious or if they would care.I'm trying not to screw up this thread, but yes.I'm just a fake lawyer, but do any of the real lawyers here see an issue with selling a T-shirt using a quote from the Simpsons? In particular, I see an issue with a blatant statement in a message board thread that the person selling the shirt took the quote straight from the Simpsons.
That was the most blatant case of fraudulent advertising since the suit against the film, “The Never-Ending Story.”Some googling reveals that companies got sued for making baby clothes that said "Nobody Puts Baby in a Corner" back in 2007. would you hinge the future of a t-shirt order?Without giving any legal advice, I certainly wouldn't hinge the future of my business on hoping that a powerful corporation doesn't find me significant enough to sue over copyright infringement in my slogan. I just showed it to a work colleague and he read it as two separate sentences:
You don't win.
Friends with salad.
And had no idea what that meant.
Maybe the problem is the capitalization of every word.

I made a similar point earlier. I would even add a period at the end, if you go the sentence route, as opposed to a headline. In either case, you do not capitalize the w in with.I agree with this. Reads better as:Is there a reason the line break in the back isn't:Proofs for shirts are in.

This was also part of my feedback to the vendor. Agreed.I would also put a TM on the logo. You will TM formally later, but you should plant the flag now.

Okay.Since Lawyers in here are giving design advice, I'll break out my inner attorney.
IMO there are no concerns with an obscure line from a 20yo episode of Simpsons. If they went after every phrase that was uttered on the 530 EPISODES of that show that ended up on a Tshirt I'd be ridiculous.
A large portion of the legibility issue is the massive gap in leading (line spacing).
