McGahee to Denver (1 Viewer)

i predict a huge year for whatchu talking about willis with probably at least 4 TDs and more if anything bad happens to noshawn marino and willis has not gotten worse he has gotten better like a fine wine which perfectly accents a meal of chicken and jalapenos prepared by the finest of chefs take it to the bank

McGahee HAS NOT signed with Denver:

(KFFL) The Denver Broncos, who had a miscommunication in a deal with free-agent RB Willis McGahee (Ravens) earlier in the day Friday, July 29, could audition him and a handful of other running backs this weekend.

No idea why this is so complicated...Moreno has been underwhelming in his career so far.Fox shows up in Denver and immediately there are multiple(?) reports that the staff in Denver doesn't think Moreno is an every down back and that they see him as a third down back.Moreno shows up to camp slimmed down to 200 pounds - looking like a third down back. The Broncos try to sign a feature back DWil, but fail. They settle for McGahee.Obviously all circumstantial since we're not talking to John Fox, maybe they still love Moreno. But I'll let you take that bet.
Good post.Sometimes you just gotta step back and look at the overview. When I make bad calculations it's usually because I ignored the bigger picture that was right there in front of me.This whole situation screams temporary till Fox can get a guy he truly wants. That hasn't happened yet but I wouldn't be surprised if a few more backs get a chance to impress. It looks like open audition season in the Bronco backfield.
"And with their first pick in the 2012 NFL Draft, the Denver Broncos select RB Trent Richardson from Alabama" :stirspot:

:loco:
It's not OFFICIAL as McGahee needs to pass his physical, but a deal is in place according to my sources. They didn't want to be accused of tampering, thus the rush of DEAL NOT DONE YET reports. 99% sure deal goes through.

That's pretty good

McGahee is overated. There is a reason why he lost his job in Buffalo and why he quickly loss his job in Baltimore. He is ok but nothing special. I expect Moreno to have a good year unless they bring in another RB like Snelling which is possible.

None of this entire post makes sense. Also, Mcgahee officially picked up by the Broncos.

Is this the same John Fox that drafted Dwill, yet still ran out the obvious inferior Foster for multiple seasons....OR...is this the John Fox that continued to let DWIL run when everyone was raving about the new sensation JSTEW that the whole world was sure would make DWIL an afterthought? Depending on the answer might change my mind on this....Lol.

Reading comprehension down?

wow... im getting the feeling as im reading through all of these threads in the shark pool a lot of posters are getting a little chippy. I'm guessing a lot of people haven't like how this frenzy of activity has affected their fantasy teams (especially dyanasty)

it makes for much more enjoyable readings though

Wasn't Rice cheap to get just a year ago 'cause Willis was a goal line monster? Willis was not much of a step down from Rice, who I think is leaps and bounds better than Moreno. I wouldn't be surprised to see McGahee win this job. Fox has always shown favoritism for veterans anyways.
Rice was never cheap to get in dynasty leagues after his rookie season where he showed great potential.McGahee hasn't had high value in years, he is what he is, an older RB with declining skills that was never that good to begin with (once he shredded his knee in college). He's always averaged around 4 YPC. he will likely be the goal-line RB though and could get 100 or so carries.
This kinda sums it up for me. People get caught up in his TD vulturing. Well, Baltimore has a good offense and Mcgahee benefited. In a TD only league he has some value, but then theres Tebow......

My problem with Moreno and just reading some of the training camp stuff so far it looks like it is still going on, he doesn't run with his feet under him. I wish there were stats that showed down without any contact because Moreno would lead that category. He gets the ball, attempts the cut and falls. I always am yelling at the tv about him needing longer cleats.

The mind is willing with him, it just looks like the body fails him. Just don't know if he can be a feature back with this team.

Yep. Lammey attributes it to his vision being better than his footwork. Makes sense.

as hard as willis runs i would not be surprised to see him become the first person who ends up causing an opponents helmet to shatter into small pieces from an impact collision with a very high psi rating
