Megatron w/ C Pep throwing (1 Viewer)

really? I have Calvin and Hightower, and Id choose Hightower to start this week against the 49ers
To each their own.It may work out for you this week, but in the long run, sitting an elite talent over an an average talent with a decent match up is probably not a great practice.

Well I'm sitting Johnson. As much as I like him, I think Culpepper shall be swallowed by the Jacksonville Def and this will be a very tough game for any DET player.

starting CJ over Colston, FWIW - of course it helps that I can also start Fitz, Steve SMith ( Carolina) and Roddy WHite - start 4 wr's..........

giving serious consideration to starting colston over CJ, but how can you bench the # 2 wr in all of FF?

peterson is inactive today to go along with henderson. might help the running game of detroit, but hopefully cj as well.

A broken QB that just signed with the team less than a week ago after being out of football this year throwing to him may be a place to start...

Very early returns: Calvin targeted on every pass play but no catches and an INT for Daunte. It's going to be an interesting ride today.

What is his trade value? It has to be pretty good, he is also the #1 WR in my league so I want to take advantage of that while I still can. I would not be at all confident starting CJ come playoffs.

Gotta say I'm somewhat surprised so far today - only 2 recs for 94 yards (Dante out of the game). Just goes to further show he can put up stats w/ very limited opps. I'm glad I traded him away last week though since I'd love to see more receptions, but owners should be encouraged I'd say.

awwwwww......yeeeaaahhhhh....gitcher roll on!!!

they should sign that 7 million dollar check tomorrow.

At least in the first half he was targeted a fair amount. I'm not watching the game, so I don't know what kind of throws/opportunities they were. At least from keeping an eye on it on NFL.com it seemed like the play-calling was pretty predictable on a lot of drives: run -> run -> pass attempt -> punt. Whether they go C-pep or Stanton it has to be a little better next week.

I think his trade value is well below his value to your team in most scenarios. Just look at this thread: there is going to be weekly hand-wringing about him & people always undervalue whoever you are offering.

whoever is playing QB next week will have a much needed week of practice. Can't imagine it getting worse than it was today.
