Men Are Losers, Says New Feminist Campaign (1 Viewer)

If both partners work, what's the problem with splitting chores 50/50? I've known guys who think that all they have to do is work and expect their working wife to not only work but cook, clean, and take care of the kids.

For the people responding without watching the video I will sum it up for you


Men are taking out the trash, cutting the grass, yard work, shoveling snow, fixing car, general repairs

Also, men who are fathers log longer hours at the office; but mothers work fewer hours thans childless women

92 percent of work deaths happen to men

More than 6000 people in the UK died by suicide in 2013; 78% of them were men.

but yeah, men have it too easy and need to get their asses back into the kitchen.

Girl that started the ban bossy word(the campaign was based on fraudulent statistics) is now bossing men around

Nonsense. I'm a feminist and don't believe in men's and women's jobs...if my wife doesn't want to do ####ty work that men traditional do then she's going to have to choose between that for the dishes or something else that I hate to do.

Men need to understand what feminism is - equality - and use it against women.

Here are some thing women are not doing enough of:

- Paying their part of the dates they go on
- Working the same amount of hours as men
- Working in the same level of working conditions as men
- Checking downstairs in their house when they hear a strange noise
- Fixing the sink or any other thing that breaks in the house
- Mowing the lawn, shoveling snow, or any other outside yard work
- Getting limbs blown off and seeing friends die in war
- Signing up for the Selective Service
- Lifting heavy objects at work without consulting a male coworker to do it for you
- Opening their own doors and pulling out their own chairs
- Building the roads, buildings, and structures that they use everyday
- Catching, growing, and preparing the food that they eat everyday

Agree on the paying for dates, it's that part of the culture that makes men expect sex after a date. In other countries women pay their own way.

If a man has a very stressful or physically demanding job then the woman with an easier job should contribute a little more at home. If she's not willing to do this she should marry a man with a similar job.

As I mentioned, chores should be negotiated based on what each person prefers to do, not on gender.

I don't see how having watched your friends die face down in the muck entitles someone to avoid household chores.

I haven't built any roads.

Only men can be forced to fight in a war, not females, how is that equal for men?

What a load of crap. If a woman wants a guy that shares in these values then find one. There are plenty of them out there.

If they choose a partner for some other reason expecting the guy to change then that's on them. Deal with it or divorce and try again.

No it's not. Nobody can read minds here. If a woman expects something they should express it. The same goes for the man.

 
WASHINGTONAfter decades spent battling gender discrimination and inequality in the workplace, the feminist movement underwent a high-level shake-up last month, when 53-year-old management consultant Peter "Buck" McGowan took over as new chief of the worldwide initiative for women's rights.

McGowan, who now oversees the group's day-to-day operations, said he "couldn't be happier" to bring his ambition, experience, and no-nonsense attitude to his new role as the nation's top feminist.

"All the feminist movement needed to do was bring on someone who had the balls to do something about this glass ceiling business," said McGowan, who quickly closed the 23.5 percent gender wage gap by "making a few calls to the big boys upstairs." "In the world of gender identity and empowered female sexuality, it's all about who you know."

McGowan, who was selected from a pool of roughly 150 million candidates, made eliminating sexual harassment his first priority before working on securing reproductive rights for women in all 50 states, and promoting healthy body images through an influx of strong, independent female characters in TV, magazines, and film.

"It's about time," McGowan said upon returning from a golf game with several "network honchos" in which he brokered a deal to bring a variety of women's sports to prime-time television. "These ladies should have brought me on years ago."

McGowan claimed that one of the main reasons the movement enjoyed so little success in the past was that the previous management was often too timid and passive and should have been much more results-focused.

"You can't waste time #####footing around with protests and getting all emotional about a bunch of irrelevant details," McGowan said. "If you want to enjoy equal rights, you have to have a real man-to-man chat with the people in charge until you can hammer out some more equitable custody laws."

"And don't get me started on how disorganized and scatterbrained their old fundraising methods were," McGowan added. "Let's just say the movement never really had a head for numbers."

Isn't this the same woman that was behind #banbossy? Thank God for her. Because no women are truly bossy and men definitely get laid donning aprons and helping out with more traditionally feminine housework (I've heard the opposite is the case, per even female-centric websites like the Frisky.)

The divorce rate peaked in the late '70s and has been declining ever since. By your logic, feminism should have seen an equal decline.
