meMoore played well.On a serious note, who is the backup now, say Parker is out? Who is the starter now?
It would have to be Moore but I imagine they'll bring Russell up from the practice squad. On a serious note, who is the backup now, say Parker is out? Who is the starter now?
MeMo was 8 for 13 yd rush and 3 for 37 yd rec. That is considered playing "well"?meMoore played well.
A. It was against the Ravens.B. He made the big play in OT that put them in position to kick the game-winning field goal.MeMo was 8 for 13 yd rush and 3 for 37 yd rec. That is considered playing "well"?meMoore played well.
:( Plently of hate waves coming your way now I'm sure.just traded him yesterday with a 1st rounder for S-Jax in a keeper... ....can't wait to see my e-mail tomorrow...
I feel like i have heard that somewhere before. This will give all the fanboys an excuse for why his career will be such a disappointment."If he hadn't broken his shoulder.."
LOL.........wonder who's speed dial gets hit first.I hate even suggesting it but Cedric Benson or Shaun Alexander.
A. PIT plays JAX next week and have a bye week 6. When will Parker be back? Is MeMo worth one sorry game against JAX?B. It was a reception. MeMo is who he is. A nice 3rd-down RB. He made a nice play, yes. But it was only one play. If we're going to go and choose a "good" play, I'll go and choose a "bad" play where he slipped and grabbed the ball during the handoff on the next play. He should have just fell down and let Ben hold on to the football to throw it away.A. It was against the Ravens.B. Low Shoulder BMIThis will give all the fanboys an excuse for why his career will be such a disappointment."If he hadn't broken his shoulder.."
I know this is going to sound odd, but this was the best thing that could of happened for those who own him.Now instead of having to accept the guy as a huge bust they can blame it on injury and save face. This will give all the fanboys an excuse for why his career will be such a disappointment."If he hadn't broken his shoulder.."
I don't get it. If by good, you mean running into the back of your linemen and having a 3.2 YPC, then he looked fantastic. But if you define good like everyone else, then no, he didnt.I don't get it. why?FELIX JONES...just wanted to say his name.
Well, he is pretty safe from injury, unless he gets hurt on the sideline giving Barber a backrub.FELIX JONES...just wanted to say his name.

Versus the Ravens. He was met at the line or in the backfield and gained positive yardage on 7 of his 10 carries. A guy like FWP probably would have been stuffed on half of his attempts or more. I didn't see him running into his linemen, unless they were being pushed into him in the backfield. He ran hard and got the most out of his carries imo.If by good, you mean running into the back of your linemen and having a 3.2 YPC, then he looked fantastic. The return of Dookie.LOL.........wonder who's speed dial gets hit first.I hate even suggesting it but Cedric Benson or Shaun Alexander.
Give it up brother. The FWP bashing is misguided and inaccurate and has been proven to be so in previous posts.Versus the Ravens. Are you suggesting that Mendenhall is better than FWP?Versus the Ravens. He was met at the line or in the backfield and gained positive yardage on 7 of his 10 carries. Most everyone did this in dynasty leagues, although if you are talking redraft, you deserve to suffer.Welp... now I can move on with my season instead of crying every week about him not getting any touches.Taking Mendenhall when Chris Johnson was on the board was one of my biggest mistakes in 20 years of this hobby.

It is a dynasty league, of course. Still regret the decision in a big way.
Sure, but you can take a little comfort in knowing you really had no choice, he was the obvious pick at 1.3.It is a dynasty league, of course. No it wasn't. FWP is one of the most overrated players in the NFL. But I don't want to get into that again. Have a good one.Give it up brother. Im assuming this is dynastyI would wait a few more years to categorize it as that.Mistake for their 2008 prospects? Yes, but I think that would be a mistake with all the preseason knowledge regardlessWait it out longer than this to see how Mendenhall pans outWelp... now I can move on with my season instead of crying every week about him not getting any touches.Taking Mendenhall when Chris Johnson was on the board was one of my biggest mistakes in 20 years of this hobby.
I dont think Mendenhall owners have any choice but to wait it out. I doubt you could get a 3rd tier kicker for him right now.Im assuming this is dynastyI would wait a few more years to categorize it as that.Welp... now I can move on with my season instead of crying every week about him not getting any touches.
