Message Board Survivor - Week 1 (1 Viewer)

Right to it...

TLSL - Well, Rush got some production, but not enough. He is the first out. Ffweasel gets immunity, but not by much with a bunch just below him.

IDP - IWannabeacowboy had more players actually do something, so he manages to pass Red Herring to survive. Construx is safe next week, probably because he managed to avoid drafting Nall in this league ;)

PDSL - Well, Jeff Pasquino managed to climb above the 88 pts the 2 guys above him had last night. Unfortunately for him, those 2 got enough to climb out of harms way as well. Jeff is out. At the top, the ridiculously close battle for immunity went to Yudkin, making a huge leap, by a single point over BSS, yesterday's leader, and 2 pts over me. But that is enough.

SSLs - Football Jones, Fullback Fro, Dpeease, and Duckboy are the bootees for this week. Dpeease being the only one who was low man yesterday. FJ's 6 QBs only managed 13 pts for him (I blame Nall for taking him down). Fro is a Dom Davis victim, while 1st rounder Jordan was a common thread for Dpeease and Duckboy.

Up top, Wolverine, Chaz (Props to II for having 3 of the top 5 scorers), Family Matters, and DonnyT33 as the top scorers safe for a week.

MBSLs - Duckboy gets a double this week, going down in I as well. Joining him is Jackal King and TeamRamrod, with all 3 being low men yesterday. Duckboy was drafted Jordan here as well. Bad move. LT and Peyton couldn't help JK, if only he had drafted a kicker that wasn't shut out this week (GB and TB kickers). And TeamRamrod's 7 RBs weren't any help.

Up top, Old Milwaukee, Fullback Fro, and Shadowmaster(high Scorer) are safe next week. As a reminder, MBSL 3 has no eliminations this week.

WSL - Both cellar dwellars saved themselves. Construx and Razrback put some decent points up. Aaron R (With 5 Zeros on the squad) and Valence (7 Zero's) didn't, and are this week's bootees here.

Family Matters and Rudy are up top, and safe.

Well that is the bootees. Now a couple of notes of interest. Draft position was much less important than in previous years. Out this week was 1,2,3,4,6,7,8,8,12,12,14,16. A slight advantage to later in the draft, but noticeably different than last year, (by memory, I might check later) with had a big advantage with the top 4.

Top average score was MBSL 3 (120.875). Lowest was, to be expected, WSL 1 (115.063) But WSL 2's average (119) was 5th highest of the 12 leagues. Good drafting there, at least in relation to week 1.

SSL1 should be the closest league overall. It's median score was exactly equal to it's average score. Biggest difference was the TLSL, with a 6 pt difference between the median and the average, mainly thanx to Rush's very bad score for the week.

Sunday Night Update

Welcome to the Message Board Survivor League updates for 2006. For those of you new to these leagues, I'll usually post something on Sunday nites after things are final with FLM (The software used to run these leagues), and another update on Monday nite. The leagues are on my site in my sig, if you don't yet know.

1 more note, with now 8 separate updates, I sometime will skip a step to upload a league. If it looks like only one league was missed, go ahead and PM me to let me know. Likewise any error you spot please let me know. There are a lot of leagues here, and while I usually spot issues (like catching missing IDP flex, if you looked at the earlier update), any extra eyes are very much appreciated.

As for the Week, not as much detail because of too many players still to go.

PDSL - Jeff Pasquino is in trouble, but far from doomed. With Portis very questionable, he has to hope the rest of Washington will pick it up, since he has a total of 5 players, all he has left.

TLSL - Rush is in trouble, but not out if Chester Taylor can go nuts. Down at least 21 with only CT and Longwell. The next 2 above him also have players (Although Fiddles only has the Oakland D(-1), not the best thing to depend on)

SSL-IDP - One of Iwannabeacowboy and Red Herring will be probably booted. But they have too many players left for any kind of prediction right now.

WSLs, MBSLs & SSLs - All of the bottom dwellers have multiple players to go, so no real comments to be made at this point. Shadowmaster gets a note, however, as the best score so far in all the leagues.

Until tomorrow...

Well imunity is a nice thing yet one I've never had before. Now I get it in 2 leagues? Swwet. A bit of irony in the WSL as I lost Big Ben and thought I was screwed because Coliins was my other QB and who knew he'd be starting for the Titans? So I figured I would be a week 1 casulty. Well I survived but top scorer? No way that should of happened. Guess it's better to be lucky than good.

Duckboy gets a double this week
Well, um, that sucked :bag: Knew that I was gone in MBSL1 with the most disastrous RB combo I think I've ever had. Figured I might have had a shot to stay alive in SSL3 for a couple weeks, but I was a dead man walking there too. Guess I'll see some of you in SSL4 next year

Oh, and :ptts:

Look at this team that went out.

My turn to whine ;)

Shaun Alexander with the first overall pick and then my employees at EA(I own stock, so I consider them my employees) put him on the cover of Madden.

Heads are gonna roll, heads are gonna roll.

Well BassMBrew, I owe you 20, I will hit you up when I got some more duckets in my PP. Your grade of F for my draft was spot on. Altough you gave me 7 more weeks of life.

MBSL 1 Owners rejoice, you all got immunity...

Not only does this collections of stiffs stink, they have no QB leading them to defeat.

Joining him is Jackal King . LT and Peyton couldn't help JK, if only he had drafted a kicker that wasn't shut out this week (GB and TB kickers).

Tomlinson, Peyton, Wayne, Witten and two DT's in the top 5.

Out the first week.

Incredible.
