Miami / Tampa Game Tread (1 Viewer)

Diamond One

Might as well kick one off as the Dolphins get ready to go against the Buccaneers shortly. Who is looking for what in this game? Caddy I'm sure will be mentioned...

Essentially want to scout out the Bucs for the season opener.

As far as the Dolphins go, I just want to see if they show any indication of picking up where they left off last season.

sounds like the coaching staff (according to Aikman) is saying Caddy is #1. Not sure how this will pan out, but FWIW I am dropping E. Graham and parking the Caddy in my garage.

A run on third and five? Gruden would have never called that.

Cadillac looks pretty good boys.

The Bucs are going to run hell out of the ball.

I was interested in seeing how Caddy looks, & my initial reaction is he has lost much of his quickness. He looks like a borderline pro prospect right now. I don't want to be overly critical since this is his first action in quite some time, but no way Caddy keeps Ward off the field unless he improves significantly.

I've always been sort of a fan of Leftwich. But he looks awful to me. He has no touch and is firing lasers with no accuracy whatsoever. I know it isn't the starting WRs in the game, but they would have rolled down the field with a guy like Pennington tossing the rock. Leftwich has a great arm but it does no good if he can't hit a receiver who is wide open.

Oh, and cheers Caddy!

ok so there's a three rbbc in Tampa this season, adjust your cheatsheets accordingly
The coach said as much a few days ago but many people refuse to believe that Williams will be a factor.
absolutely right, i just think given Caddy's injury history, everyone was taking a "wait and see" approach. At least I wassmall sample size but he looked pretty good out there, no doubting the talent if he can stay healthy. Don't think people grabbing Ward early are going to be happy about those picks.

Caddy has ran well but u can tell much of his quickness is gone. also he's been known for his 'high knees', u can tell he's trying but they definelty aren't raising like they used to. one thing to note if this does turn into a dreaded 3RB RBBC, Ward came in on 3rd and long in the redzone. Caddy left and it wasn't Graham or Smith that trotted onto the field

Caddy came out 'cause he took a good shot to the top of the head and had a few cobwebs.

Very surprised to say that so far, after watching Caddy run for a series, Ward looks slow and a little tentative at the point of attack.

I've been banging my head for two ### #### months trying to figure out what people here see in Leftwich. He is just terrible. Cannot leave the pocket, is inaccurate and has absolutely no touch.

If McCown doesn't win this thing I'm going to be in disbelief.

Oline looks pretty good. Bucs should have a really good ground game.
