Michael Bush, OAK RB (1 Viewer)

The kid looks to have good talent. Is it time to think about snagging him for possible touches this year and keeper value for next?

Or maybe I should have asked:

Does anyone have any knowledge of M Bush's potential going forward?

The last tidbit from CBSSportsline was 10/2/07 and quotes Kiffin saying Bush looks very good...

Thanks!

I stashed him on my IR in redraft. If he get activated he could have value down the stretch. I don't think it's unrealistic that by Week 14 (i.e. FF playoffs) Raiders could be out of playoff contention and/or Lamont could be re-injured.

If that's the case, I could see Bush getting a decent number of touches (even if Lamont is healthy).

He could be a nice option to have in your back pocket.

I like Bush's potential, but I'm not sure how much playing time he'll get. Any homers know anything?
In a redraft league, I don't see him having much value. He's going to have to leapfrog Lamont, Rhodes, and Huggy Bear. I just don't see it happening. And it is not a certainty that he will be activated.

Rotoworld (10/17)...

Michael Bush (leg surgery) was not activated from the Physically Unable to Perform list Wednesday.

The Raiders still have three weeks to activate him, but aren't in any rush with three running backs in front of him. Unless LaMont Jordan gets hurt again, Oakland may use all three weeks to decide whether to promote Bush.

For what its worth, I heard an interview with Lane Kiffin this morning on KSFO and he was specifically asked about Michael Bush Lane's response was very positive, but he made mention that Michael Bush would be able to contribute sometime this year or next. The way he said it made it sound more like the latter than the former.

Bush's value lays after this season, when Rhodes and/or Fargas are gone and he'll be worked into become the Raiders feature back, which he should become at some point.
