Mike and the Mad Dog show (Not Done!) (2 Viewers)

How many times would you have to play that initial segment for a non-Francesa listener/non-golf fan to get them to figure out what those three words were that he kept saying?

Today I just learned the difference between 79 and 90 wins isnt actually 11. You have to think of it like this. A 79 win season means a 79-83 record. Thats 4 below. A 90 win season is a 90-72 record which is 18 above. So the difference is actually 22. Remember, every additional game they win is also a game they dont lose.

"Yaw going from minus 4 to plus 22, remember that."

49er fan calls and asks what Mike thinks is going on with the team. Mike's answer: Listen, it's over, okay? The run is over. It's over. They're done. The run is over. That's it. It's over. :lmao:

Who is this guy "Beluga" Mike keeps referencing? Is he thinking of Bryan Bulaga?
W-w-w-w wait a second heyuh. I neva said anything about Bryan Bulager. Ahh you outta ya mind? I was talking about a beluger whale. It is big fish thing. Lives in da wata.

Thanks to this post, I started a folder called "Francesa Futures" where I put the videos of all his declarations which we won't know the outcome of for some time. For instance, I saved the video of him saying the Niners are DONE. In the unlikely event they get off to a 11-3 start, it will be fun to post it.

It's already paying off.

Maybe the first bit of good news for SF fans this off-season.

First thing he says today: "The Jets signing Revis was a no-brainer."

:lmao:

Dude is the best. We've all forgotten that on Monday "he was hearing" that Pittsburgh and Kansas City were the favorites to land him.

Just had a "Metzenberger" reference from huge football fan, M. Francesa.

Spirited Jets fan. I dig it.

Mike just said that Andre Johnson is gonna catch 110 balls next season with Luck.

:lmao:

That one is going right into the "Francesa Futures" folder. Johnson is on his last legs, and he only has to compete with Hilton, Moncrief, Allen, Fleener and Herron for catches. Hell, he might even catch 200 balls!

Mike was pretty adamant that Kentucky wouldn't go undefeated in the regular season, went off on a nice rant about it. That would be epic if you could find it. I know it was in early November, no idea what day.

He definitely said that. To his credit though, he didn't run from that one. He has stated recently that he thought they would get beaten.

Annnnnnnd, there it is. Pathological liars can't help lying. It's what they do."I don't think Kentucky will lose, and I didn't think they would lose all season."

:lmao:

He must have said AT LEAST 20 times early this season that Kentucky would lose once or twice.
He just knows he's always right, so if being right means he didn't say it, then clearly he didn't say it. If they end up losing he'll remind everyone he called it back in November.

I knew Busta Douglas would knock out Mike Tyson.

I knew Kurt Wawna would be a great NFL quataback when I watched an Iower Barnstorma game one night.

I just went back and listened to this again, and I have to be fair. His answer leaves room for ambiguity. The question from the caller immediately before this comment was "Mike, who is your Final Four?" He replied "I haven't really thought about it, but I don't think Kentucky will lose, and I didn't think they would lose all season."

In the context of thinking they were gonna win it all this year, yes, he said that. Along with everyone else in the world. I'll accept this as what he meant, so I don't make myself crazy. He just could have phrased it a bit better.
