FWIW I think the Vikings have something in Ponder. Yes he threw two crucial picks, but I'd liked his poise despite having guys in his face nearly every down. He's going to be fine if they give him a chance. Too bad he can't go through McCarthy's QB school.. :)
Definitely gave them some hope going forward.
Ponder is ours, hands off. You guys are stuck with stinky Rodgers.
I said hope.Packers have much more than hope.We have the belt.

The Vikings were interesting for a couple years there, but have now reverted to complete irrelevance. Tickets are a dime/dozen for this game tomorrow night. The Packers and their fans have come full circle and once again understand that the Bears are and always have been our only rival in the NFC North.

Yep, if anything good comes of this season, it's ditching the year after year has-been quarterbacks and possibly grooming our own talent. I will say though, a Vikings win tomorrow would be AWESOME.

Which will happen first?

a) Vikings will a division game.

b) AE kisses a girl.

c) AE will make a correct prediction.

Since one of these predictions are made each week, eventually someone will be right and be the genius they long to hope for. They may be 2012 however.

Rodgers is making history. Any serious football fan needs to sit down to a few Packers games and appreciate what he's doing. You're missing out if you don't.

And this is coming from someone who hates the Packers.

Right now, he is playing the position better than anyone EVER has. And I don't even think it's debatable.

I agree, and I'm a big Rodgers fan, but I do concede to those who say that QB's today benefit from the current rules. He has done the best exploiting them. The guy is amazing but I'd love to see a Marino or Unitas in this era.

Rodgers is simply incredible to watch. It's very, very frustrating when he's out there lighting up your defense though.

Common Artic Edge. Man up. You started this thread, then your team got beat like the red headed step child. 2nd worst defeat (point wise) in Minnie history.

I think that there should be a Nostradamus sub forum for topics like this. I hate having threads like this buried in the Shark Pool amongst all the injury news, statistical analysis, and player scouting threads. All that clutter just makes gems like this thread harder to find, so perhaps it's time for a new forum specifically designated for quality threads like this.
