MixTape Draft - 6+ word titles. Finish your draft and listen to mixes! (1 Viewer)

And if you can still get your hands on the Freddie Mercury tribute concert, I used to throw that on as a conversation piece.  Think I still have a copy of it, will burn for $5, or 650 millidollars
I remember Gary Cherone tearing that ### up.  He was the only person who really captured Mercury's spirit at that show.

The Bowie-Ronson reunion was moving.  They're both gone now as is George Michael.  And possibly Gary Cherone, who would know

While we're talking FBG staff, the guy who was on the staff back in the day named Mark Levin and the batcrap crazy alt-right Mark Levin are two different people, right? I assume they are, but then, Dodds...?

Well it's out there for purchase.. a great show, I was never a huge Queen fan but I still remember when that was broadcast and it was something else

The other star F Willie Conner fouled in the double-bonus, and the Kent State player gets t'd up....Conner hits all 4 FTs and it's a 3-point game with 2:30 on the clock.  And I've poured a glass of tequila as Kent State turns it over.  COME ON BULLS

Never touch the stuff. :oldunsure:
You probably remember that the Monday after Wayhome, I couldn't really talk. I'm not sure if I told you that my voice didn't return until like Thursday. I'm sure it was from singing along to so many good songs that weekend and definitely not related to anything smoked or drank...

You must be somewhere in London
You must be lovin' your life in the rain
You must be somewhere in London
Walking Abbey Lane

I don't even think to make
I don't even think to make
I don't even think to make corrections

There's about a 2-hour period around the end of LCD Soundsystem, through Marian Hill and up to Matt & Kim of which I have virtually no recollection.  I somehow made it from close to the stage for LCD through a crowd of 20,000 people into the ####### forest to find Marian Hill without injuring myself or anyone else, only to be stoned out of my gourd probably drooling 4 rows back at Marian Hill.

Sunday night, Chase and I figured we weren't bringing any back to the states and got liiiiiiiiiit during HAIM and Glass Animals.  I don't know where you and Tyler and Alex were.

My reputation in these drafts precedes me more than enough that I can state the obvious... We were camping out to get in the front row for The Killers

We were stuffing our faces with corn on the cob after Glass Animals as we heard the beginning riffs to "Mr. Brightside" from a mile away.  Make Wayhome Great Again imo.  @UniAlias

I hate how these college basketball games drag, but Ikenna Smart somehow hits both free throws to make it a 1-point game with 38 seconds left.

Last week my company had a regional meeting and my boss asked me to pick up the beer. He told me to get 2-3 cases, so I got 6 12-packs. I got 4 accessible craft types because that's what I prefer, then 12 each of Coors Light and Canadian, thinking that's what everyone really wanted... The 48 good beers got drank and a few Coors Light. I brought the rest home with me (free beer!!1) but Canadian is pretty light to my tastes these days. I can't even say I really dislike it. From the day I started buying beer, I'd walk into the beer store and one of Molson Canadian or Labatt Blue would always be on sale and that would be what I bought, every time, for like 6-7 years, and they're fine. This is a very Canadian post isn't it.

8.9 seconds, down 68-65, with the ball at half-court.  8.9 seconds for a chance to make it a MAC three-peat.  Gotta get the ball to Massinburg here.

Replace "isnt't it" with "eh"

Massinburg goes for a contested 3, tries to dump it off to Smart but whiffs, throwing the ball away.  Someone saves it to Massinburg who chucks a 35-footer at the buzzer for an airball.  There will be no three-peat.  It was a run.

They're going to announce ATCQ and like 3 good indie bands and we'll end up back there anyway, IMO.

Rest of the thread, come join us at WayHome!! Sure, last year it had Arcade Fire, LCD Soundsystem, The Killers, HAIM, Chvrches, M83, Foals, etc... but this year it has.... Imagine Dragons!! and Flume! and uh.. Marshmello.  and to be fair, Frank Ocean and Justice and The Shins and Tegan and Sara but... :oldunsure:

National Bohemian is the local swill around here, and I like it.  It doesn't have the offensive soapy taste of your popular domestic swills.  I'm good with the Molsons and Labatts too, though

You spent the first five years trying to get with the plan

And the next five years trying to be with your friends again

...how come I'm still the only one doing this?

We have this discussion around the house all the time.  I usually have little clue what lyrics of the songs are or what the songs are about.  I am kinda paying attention but that's not what I remember.  For me, it's probably 90% music, 10% lyrics.  My wife is almost the opposite.  She picks up on lyrics instantly and remembers them.  She could play a lyrics trivia game.  I can't do that.  I would be more likely to be able to name a song in a couple seconds of music.

We can have a live mixtape draft with a draft board.

Top down, chrome spinning
You see the boss grinning
I'm loving these damn women
I let two get in
She tried to let the rest fit in
I'm like, "naw love, that's forbidden"
I ain't for squishing, that's a problem to the wheel well
Trust I know them 20's real well

How about them opening with their best and biggest song though. Balls the size of watermelons     .

Also, we have a really good gay friend couple and one of them, more than anyone else in the world wants to #### Brandon Flowers.

We found a new kind of dance in a magazine
Try it out it's like nothing you ever seen
You sweet talk like a cop and you know it
You bought a new bag of pot, so let's make a new start
