***MNF-Chicago at Pittsburgh*** (-7) O/U 39 Barn Burner in the making... (1 Viewer)

Probably similar odds as a hail Mary

That kick didn't look like the kick of a guy who can kick it 66 yards and he just missed that one.  I guess we won't know because we don't see practice but is Santos even kicking it that far in practice?

His career long was 55, which is about how far that kick went.

Looks like Fields to Kmet may become a thing. Will be a really nice connection over the next 5 years or so if things work out.

Yeah I would guess the odds of a Hail Mary were higher.  Possibly even a defensive PI

Odds of catching a hail marry, sure.  PI?  When was the last time PI was called on a hail marry?  I honestly can't remember it even ever happening where I was watching.

EDIT: Looks like it happened just last year for the Bucs, though at halftime not in an end of game situation.  Last one before that was 2008 but that was shorter than a true "hail marry" if I recall.

But if the guy legitimately can't kick over 55 yards, isn't that still a higher probability?

I fell asleep in the 1st Half when Pitt was up 14-0, woke up a little bit ago and watched the end of the game on dvr, off the crossbar to end the game 29-27? The Bears were actually leading this game at a point in the 4th Q, late I might add.

Incredible effort by Fields. Good win for the Steelers. What a 2nd Half and especially 4th Q.

Fields gets them on the board going into the Half and then a long drive ending in a FG, had them 14-6 halfway into the 3rd, helped keep the Bears in the game. Kid was making plays, exciting to watch.

Sorry you fell asleep, but we saw it.

I like how you can murder Justin Fields after the throw but taunting is OFF LIMITS. Anywho, no way Fields drives for a TD here.

GG.
The NFL continues to go downhill.  Refs decide too many games with questionable calls.  Taunting is a point of emphasis but it is called differently in every game and even during the course of the same game.

This is the first time I’ve truly thought that the NFL should investigate the refs.

So many bad (really) bad calls.

Feel bad for the Bears, played well enough to win.
