**MNF Doubleheader Game 1 - Bears at Vikings** (-7, 44) 8:00 (3 Viewers)

The Vikings have a chance to tie for 1st place in the NFC North with Detroit
Imagine he Lions having to possibly open up on the road as a WC team

No weather concerns
Divisional game
Best division in The NFL
Bears are red headed step child
I think the visitors will come ready to play
And this will be a very entertaining game to watch
I don't know if The Bears can win
But I think they can cover the spread
So...

Vikings- 29
Bears- 23

I think the Bears put up a good fight, but they simply aren't as good right now. I do expect a lower scoring game though.

I think the Bears follow a similar gameplan to the one they almost won with a few weeks ago, which was anyone but Jefferson. I think Jordan Addison stays hot, and I especially think TJ Hockenson has a nice game. Aaron Joned had a 25-4 touch edge on Akers in the 1st meeting, I'd bet that's a lot closer this time, as the Vikings clinched a playoff berth last night, and could throttle Jones back a bit to preserve his health.

For the Bears, the best matchup they have is probably Cole Kmet vs Vikings LBs, specifically Grugier-Hill. I think they can combat the pass blocking deficiencies with quick check downs to Kmet, and could see 8+ catches for him. Caleb threw 47 passes in the last meeting, hopefully they are a little more balanced this time.

Vikings-24
Bears-17

For a game featuring a team 4-9, yeah i'm ready to sit down and watch Caleb Williams tonight vs a pretty good defense
I'd like to see where he's at right now because he did walk into a decent trio of weapons at WR, he's looked OK at times and others he's struggled a lot

Vikings have been a team I have followed a lot this season and understand the Vegas line most of the time, they typically play it close and try not to make a lot of mistakes on offense
Vikings 24...Bears 20 sounds about right tonight. I could see the Vikes winning 31-20 but Chicago should put up a fight

Minnesota has an awful lot to play for tonight including a No 1 seed and a Division Title, it's all there.
January 5th Showdown with Detroit to end the season

61 point lead with Darnold + Byron Murphy left.

Opponent has Bijan+Sincere+Cashman+Diablo

I think I’ve got this, but as the 1-seed I was able to pick my opponent. 4 of the teams I could have picked would have already lost by now. And my opponent caught a lot of breaks yesterday, including the meaningless Jamo TD with 12 seconds left to play. 😬

Fingers crossed.

Chase Daniel broke down Caleb tape pretty well a couple weeks ago. He said Waldron's offense was so plain and he basically challenged his WRs to be better than the CB they were up against. No rub routes or crossing patterns. The Bears were failing in that style offense because the OL couldn't sustain blocks which let the CBs jump the first read. WRs weren't able to set up double moves. This was how the Arizona and Pats D shut the Bears down two weeks in a row.

Thomas Brown was a better OC, but calling the plays from the sideline has been a disaster.

Love the Bears, but I don't think they have much fight left.

Which is too bad, a couple of really beaten up teams on deck.

Assuming the Bears don’t get the ball back in the 1Q, they scored 20 points in 14 1Q’s. Breaking it down further, they have scored 4 times in the 1Q, and they have 3 Offensive Coordinators.

What a F’ing joke.

Vikings lost the time of possession battle last game vs the Bears. Vikings winning it this time. Alot of first down plays.
