**MNF Doubleheader Game 2 - Falcons at Raiders** (+5.5, 44.5) 8:30 (1 Viewer)

Who's the starting quarterback for The Home Team?
Cousins best games this year have been in Prime Time
Is this one game the visiting teams fans do not take over the Raiders stadium?
Crosby out is big
I'm leaning the over regardless of who starts at qb for the home team
I think it might be somewhat close
And Kirk throws a late td to win
So...

Atlanta- 34
Vegas- 27

Probably wouldn't have been the worst place for Penix to take over, but Cousins should be able to pull out the win here. I think both teams move the ball pretty well, but we could have a turnover filled game.

For the Falcons, this is a game they should have tons of success on the ground both consistent gains, and chunk plays. Could be a monster Bijan night, though its also possible is a 12+ touch Allgeier kind of game. Mooney feels like a lock for at least 1 long 40+ yard play, with Cousins having time to throw with Crosby out. I think London should also have a good day, with likely 7+ catches.

On the Raiders side, I think Ridder will have a game where he himself is bad, but he moves the offense enough where the pieces around him are fine. I think Bowers flirts with 100 yards, and Meyers and McCormick are both flex-worthy guys. Atlanta's defense is much stronger on the perimeter than in the middle, so they matchup pretty poorly with Vegas, even with Ridder.

Falcons-28
Raiders-14

Raiders 22...Falcons 21

-Just don't believe in Cousins right now, maybe the achilles is not all the way there for him but his last 3-4 games are downright scary
Too bad the Raiders are missing both Wilkins and Crosby now on their DL, Wilkins has been gone for months
Wilkins signed a massive deal this past off season, Raiders didn't get much back thus far

Not on the line and in the trenches. You’ve got Grady Jarrett and Onyemata and nobody to rush the passer on the outside, really. Pass rush has been their trouble all these years. Jarrett and Onyemata are DTs.

Well that was a riveting 35 seconds of football waiting for them to not attempt a FG, when everyone in the stadium knew they weren’t going to attempt a FG.

I will never understand the point of that as long as I live.

T Allgeier sucks
Strong disagree. He's a really good RB, who should be a starter somewhere when his contract is up.
Feel free to ignore the multitude of times this year he’s missed blocks or failed to hit the right gap on key short yardage plays.
He has 2 seasons with 4.8 YPC out of 3, and is constantly among the league leaders in YAC/att. I don't think Bijan is any better as a blocker, though obviously better as a receiver. Allgeier also never fumbles.

What do you think he would fetch as a free agent?
Pollard got 3yr/$24M last off season with Tennessee as an example
I could see a team giving him a 3/15 with some guaranteed. Maybe make the 3rd year a team option.

He’s not getting Pollard $. I like him well enough. He’ll be a bargain.

I wish the Raiders and Giants could play each other for rights to 1st overall pick. Just picturing the drama of a 0-0 tie going into 3rd OT session.
