***MNF Eagles vs. Colts game thread (1 Viewer)

wanted some pts from Foles, but the officials jobbed Indy there. it's beyond obvious they are there to keep primetime/high profile games close late
nah, it was a bad call on the horse collar but that happens. i don't think the play on the interception was that bad. could've been called either way.

COME ON D!!!!!! MAKE IT HAPPEN.

Not sure why you don't let Luck let it fly.

eta: Thanks John.

I didn't think the Boykin no call was all that big either. Hilton looked like he was pushing off and lost his own balance but there was definately enough contact to draw a flag in today's NFL.

The horsecollar was crap but was hardly a game killer

People gonna cry about it but when eagles were down 10-0 last week and got a horse collar jersey that allowed Jax to go up 17-0.

The explanation given was it was near the shoulder area.
Article15:
Horse-Collar Tackle.
No player shallgrab the inside collar of the back or the side of the shoulder pads or jersey
pads or jersey, and pull the runnertoward the ground.
This does not apply to a runner who is in the tackle box or to a
quarterback who is in the pocket.
Note: It is not necessary for a for a player to pull the runner completely to the ground in order for the act to be illegal. If his knees are buckled by the action, it is a foul, even if the runner is not pulled completely to the ground. Penalty: For a Horse-Collar Tackle: Loss of 15 yards and an automatic first down.

if Indy were the team coming back the official wouldn't hv been able to get the flag out fast enough

That's what I thought last week and was over-ruled. It does NOT have to be inside the actual collar

Defense gave them a chance. Here is where Foles has to be the man. On the road, not your best day... can you lead the team downfield and win?
