**MNF in SF - Jets at Niners** (-3.5, 43.5) 8:15 (2 Viewers)

Played Bates over Mooney that went well. Going to win anyway but damn. Lots of big scores from kickers this week.

Who'd have thought Purdy would out QB Aaron Rogers?. Oh how the mighty have fallen.
13 points. Yikes. It's actually going to be a battle for last place in the AFC East with the lowly Patriots.

That is so stupid. He just got his coach's *** fined. And the org. They can lose late picks for that.
"Jordan, I know it's late and it's Fri night but this is your RB Coach and I'm telling you direct from Shanny that you just might start on Monday Night, CMC is Questionable right now"
What's the problem?

-See what I'm saying ? They'll spin it and say Mason misinterpreted that he might be starting on Monday Night but we wanted him to be prepared

They won’t lose picks for this. This ain’t deflategate.

I got interested so I looked it up. As of 2012, the league stated it would take multiple, egregious offenses regarding the injury report to lose a pick.

Looks like you're right.

From the Sporting News, a recent one.

"Last season, the Falcons franchise and former head coach Arthur Smith were fined $75,000 and $25,000, respectively, for failing to list star rookie running back Bijan Robinson to the Week 7 injury report after finishing with just one carry for 11 yards.

It's possible the 49ers could face a similar fine if the NFL looks into their reporting of McCaffrey's injury."

Oh yeah, I could definitely see a fine. At the very least, he should have been listed as doubtful.

saleh can manage to lose double digit games like i change my underwear. which is weekly. no matter the talent, no matter the year, i am more and more convinced that the jets are simply being out coached weekly. they seemed less than prepared and i loved hackett’s plan of pounding hall into the middle on 1st and 2nd down.

Jordan Mason anytime TD was +800 earlier today, it's at +575 now on my sports book app. I shoulda jumped when I looked.
as someone who may have taken this, twice, at +850, watched Deebo commit a needless penalty to negate a TD and then proceed to take the handoff to score himself. had some choice words for him and walked away from the TV.

As a Niners fan I couldn’t be more pleased with the results. Jets are a formidable defense.

And their offense, while clearly not clicking on all 8, is much improved from anything I’ve seen the last couple of years. They look like a professional football team out there.

Wilson is a really, really good receiver, Lazard clearly has something left in the tank. ARod looked a little tentative - a few times I thought he had more time but did t want to get hit.

Maybe it’s crazy talk, but I kinda think taking that 1st sack helped him. He seemed a little more poised after that.

Jets are a very solid team and have a very easy schedule. I wouldn’t be surprised to see them run off a string of wins & compete for a wildcard.

Niners 1-0, LFG!

I agree with this take. Jets will be fine. 49ers are just really good. Puni is going to make a huge difference in the OL performance. Burford is now a depth piece which is where he belongs.

Have a couple Jets fans in a long time on-line league. Had to talk them off the ledge after Monday night. They have a ton of talent. Just one game.

Saleh is 18-34 with 19 double digit losses. it is early and there is Rodgers but, so many times they look out coached and unprepared. i am not impressed with douglas and now it seems he bungled the reddick thing. i’ve already said same old jets 100 times this week to my wife. i can’t believe i spent €200 on dazn nfl game pass to watch them. i get sucked in every year.

Also good to keep in mind that Shanny knows Saleh really, really well.

It’s like in the Waterboy when Henry Winkler is looking over at the other sideline.
