Yeah, if it was 1:27 to go, I could see it. But 4:27 is both PLENTY of time to drive for a FG, and also not too much to just grind out with a first down or two.

It was definitely a great call. And it was also smart of them to not convert the 2 on purpose. If they had, KC would not have punted there.

It was clearly a shoulder stinger, but this new protocol has me worried. Seems like it introduces grey-area on injuries like that, or an ankle injury, etc. where the player tries to get up but the pain makes them stagger, or brings them to their knees.
