MNF **Washington at Philadelphia** (-10.5, 43.5) (1 Viewer)

It’s hard to be gracious after that slopfest, but that’s on the Eagles.

Congratulations to the WAS fans for the win. You’re team clearly were the better team and played to win.

shifty refs aside, great job by Rivera & his coaches

massive talent deficit between these two rosters

staff had a good game plan on offense & defense made some big plays

Eagles are the class of the league but it’s really tough being on 17 times

and that 18-3 turnover advantage was bound for some regression

I can’t recall ever seeing a QB do that.

I mean, it was kind of like a RB sliding to stay in bounds. Pass play and if it's open for the 1st down take it. But if you're just going to throw an incompletion anyway better to slide/kneel down and keep the clock rolling.

But yea, for sure an odd play for a defender running full steam at him and almost impossible to pull up there. Shouldn't have been a flag.

Getting a first down isn't an option for Rivera at all here?
Just make them burn all 3 and Punt
Still might be 1:30 left on the clock

QB takes a knee like a little ***** on 3rd down he was so scared and he's going to get a flag for that?
:lmao:
I guess Rivera had a plan after all
That QB was never letting go of that football, Heineken was never ever ever going to throw that football
3rd and 5, you drop back and take a knee with a 1:30 left around midfield and Philly with still a timeout?

Wow

Mercury Morris is dancing in his living room somewhere right now.

Was punched philly in the mouth and they cried foul...

i mean there were a few horrendous calls, but in all honesty the Eagles only have themselves to blame for this game. Poor first half and just came out so flat, loss is all on Eagles

I hate seeing this game decided on that call but I don’t really think it’s that bad, had clearly given himself up well before the hit.

Sorry y'all....Graham took 3 or 4 steps and Hieneke not only kneeled but was already in the grasp. Absolutely the right call. Graham may even get a fine...it was pretty egregious to have hit him at all
If he gets a fine just ****ing cancel football. It's over.

disagree. you re looking at a DL rush the QB, he is going as fast as he can to get the QB, you can't expect him to just stop on a dime and all momentum. i honestly don't know what else he could have done in that situation

yer a pretty troll-y dude, huh?

I have no idea what people are complaining about, Heinicke gave himself up, and Graham took 3+ steps and hit him. Sure, it wasn't a super hard hit, but it was way after the play.

There's no way it was immediately obvious to Graham that he was giving himself up. Probably looked to him like Heinecke slipped and was trying to get up. You could tell as soon as he realized it that he tried to pull up. Just a crazy thing to have to decide running full speed like that.

all day this. And these things usually happen against a team like Washington...good not great, divisional opponent. Was worried about this game all week

Yeah. I get being upset in the heat of the moment. But do people really want the rules to allow tackling a guy who has taken a knee?
Nope...graham f/d up..

Yeah he kneeled down (cowardice move) and was hit. Just a weird play but it looked like Graham had time to stop.

Dude please...it was blatant he was down....another Eagle already had his hands on him
