Why even throw there lol?
Will the Eagles make the playoffs?![]()
Hand it off and see what Barkley gets, no way that’s the play. Stupid.on replay easy to see what Hurts saw. IN a vacuum, not an egregious mistake. IN that scenario it is though
lost in OT to an 8-4 team on the road....it is not over.Yeah its ovah
11-6 and the #3 seed is the Eagles destiny this year.Yeah its ovah
And to all people Dotson. He had Goadart on an easy play thereDidn’t have to force it there to Dotson
I blame the play call more than Hurts. What is point of throwing there? A tie would have been a very good outcome for the Eagles. I feel like this coaching staff (starting from Sirianni) has some major Hubris going on.on replay easy to see what Hurts saw. IN a vacuum, not an egregious mistake. IN that scenario it is though
This team aint winning **** amd it makes me mad11-6 and the #3 seed is the Eagles destiny this year.Yeah its ovah
scenario wise I agree. Just saying that on replay it's very easy to see why Jalen threw that. Was a great defensive play more then it was a bad pass playHand it off and see what Barkley gets, no way that’s the play. Stupid.on replay easy to see what Hurts saw. Is 5 turnovers in a game you lose in OT bad?Atta boy Hurts. Knew you had one more turnover in you.
Goedert really didn't sell his route so the CB dropped off him to tip that. If he doesn't get there, it's a game winning TD. Feel like that's also on Goedert for loafing a bit.on replay easy to see what Hurts saw. IN a vacuum, not an egregious mistake. IN that scenario it is though
Sure but defense was on its heels, run the ball. Definitely don’t throw anything that can be a pick on first down with a worst case tie locked up.scenario wise I agree. A lot of ego. I’ve been saying for awhile I think Sirianni is a good guy, loves his players and defend him to no end, but he gets incredibly lucky a lot. Constantly outcoached but wins because the other coach says hold my beer I can do one better then you on a bad decision. Lurie and Roseman built a film proof talent roster that just needed better coaching. The talent I think has won inspite of coaching. It’s obvious guys like Steichen and Moore were way more important than some had given credit for. Thank god for Fangio and the defense or this team might be in KC territory of bad this year after SB.I blame the play call more than Hurts. What is point of throwing there? I’m by no means a Hurts fan but I wouldn’t wish the jets on anyone outside of Deshaun Watson.Philly offer Hurts to the Jets for a few 1's?
I think that was the worst hurts nfl game of all time. 5 years. But that was itI am shocked! lol Sorry guys. I thought you had this for sure. Bad Hurts showed up tonight. *as a side note...the Chargers won this game almost in the same fashion as in 1995. Pass deflected by a charger defender into the hands of another Charger defender.
Appreciate the reply (read and response), and honestly it actually drew me back into it . . . curious your take . . . since you're one of the best football minds on this board.Fair enough, I'm definitely passing judgement early but that's also the fun of it. I don't see a team that's going to come together and become what they were. This is night and day from last year.going to finish the first half with just under 200 yards of offense. So.......Eagles fans are frustrated over this offense this year, but not sure we're fairly evaluating what we're seeing from it tonight.Big turnover (and TD after, let's hope) but the Eagles are in disarray. Nothing close to a team that could be dangerous.
It was a nice run, too bad they lost their way. Thought they might start putting it together, but not seeing it. Good lord, Hurts is all over the joint. They'll win some more games but no way they do damage in the playoffs.
It's human nature to be content and lose that fire after you've been on top of the mountain. All I'm saying is it ain't happening again. They're all over the place; that won't get them there again.
Some very hungry teams out there. This doesn't look like one. They're good, but not Super Bowl Championship good.
How about now? You seeing the fire that will get them and there 200 yards of offense there?going to finish the first half with just under 200 yards of offense. Shall we go through AJ Brown's game, play by play?I was literally going to ask the same thingHonestly what are you talking about lol?He went BIG last night, bro still smells like hos.Weird blocking attempt by AJ, it looked like he initially blocked the guy and passed him off to nobody.
On the contrary...I wonder how many owners across the world missed the playoffs on that last pick.I just got the bye on that INT!
It was an RPO TE flat. This is a play that actually in EA NCAA college football and Madden known as a money play or cheat play that gets spammed for big yards. Either way Hurts made the wrong read on the play. It should’ve been a hand off but he makes the wrong read and then forced into a bad throw when at that point it should’ve been thrown away. The very last play of the game had a couple of interesting things going on:
A.) The defender who ended up making the interception/catching the tipped ball was lucky as heck his teammate had a deep understanding of the game and tackled him to secure the win.
B.) After winning the game(and being tackled by his own teammate), he ran by the entire Eagles sideline gloating and holding the ball up. Epic $#^& you! to the eagles organization.
