**Monday Night Football - Jets at Dolphins**(-2.5, 44.5) 7:15 (1 Viewer)

So Tyreek's out of the game (that is just ugly and awful by the way) and the only guy you have to account for is ten yards open inside the ten?

Huh?

Ugh. I just . . . I hate seeing a guy get hurt like Tyreek did. He and Waller are still the best players on the Dolphins.

Well, Achane and Minkah are excellent also. So aren't some of the defensive line guys when they're healthy.

eta* Really just lamenting Tyreek and complimenting Waller here.

The Bengals are now on my big screen and I'm watching the Jets on my phone. That seems appropriate and fair.

And Fields just became fantasy viable with that one. FF guys who roster and started him now lining up to tell you that ackshually he's pretty good.

Have to admit I wrote Waller completely off when he signed with Miami

When he wasn't ready for three weeks I sure as heck wrote him off because I thought he was just picking up checks. I mean, there was no indication of him having a desire to play since Gruden was fired, honestly.

I could see him coming back for Gruden, but he didn't want to play for anybody else, it seemed. Jury's still out but my comments about him being too old seem really misplaced as of now.

Its the Fields experience. Honestly, I'd prefer it to what Rodgers and especially Wilson brought.

>>Tyreek Hill -Look away if squeamish.Plants his Left foot, suspecting LCL++ tear and knee dislocation.Meniscus+ACL could be implicated as well.Just have to hope there’s no significant nerve damage, but this could certainly be career-threatening.<<

>>How did they not have to bring an ambulance out there and how was he smiling and acting fine ??<<

>>Adrenaline<

From PT Jeff Meuller.

Do we need the coverage of Tyreek in the wheelchair?

It's almost like he's a head of state. Where was that during FDR's days?

Not quite Joe Theisman-esque but oof.

Miami owes Hill and Tua Tags a lot of money, there was talk of Hill being traded but that isn't gonna happen
Miami owes Hill about $30M a year for at least the next couple seasons, they can release him but they're gonna pay a lot in dead cap space
You can discuss firing the coach and GM but what folks will want the GM or HC job in Maimi with this type of cap issue hanging over their heads
Miami is now stuck with Tua and Tyreek thru '26

@BassNBrew
Terrible Trade for Miami and will be paying for it in coming seasons
Hill will get paid plenty to rehab here now

Television wasn’t much of a thing then.

Heh. We had enough devices to record. It was a difference in the willingness of what we are willing to divulge.

You know that, though. You seem like you were kind of kidding, but likely kind of serious too, I'm guessing, about the ubiquity of the television medium and technology.

I have Hall/Dodson/Chase/Battle going and he has Achane/Waddle/Higgins.

And I seriously am going to lose. This stinks.

All three of my teams got blown out.

ETA: The Summerpalooza team could pull it out with an insane half from Hall but I wrote it off after getting Doubs’d last night.

I've always thought Waddle is a great WR but got lost in the shuffle due to Hill. I'll be curious to see what he does going forward. He can do it all.

I honestly seriously disagree. He's nowhere near as sudden or as good at changing direction and getting up to speed. He's also always in the blue tent. Nearly every hit sends him there and then he disappears.

3rd & 6 and they handoff to the 3rd string running back. Are you kidding me!!! It's almost like they are throwing the game on purpose.

Jets with another bad head coaching hire. I didn't like it when it was announced. Should have went with an offensive coordinator.
