**Monday Night Football - Jets at Dolphins**(-2.5, 44.5) 7:15 (1 Viewer)

Without Tyreek, I'd like to see what Taj Washington can do. He looked quick in the preseason. Plays faster than 4.5. He made plays last preseason before being placed on IR with a minor injury. He and Wilson had a good connection this camp and preseason. Was Caleb's #1 target at USC.

Malik Washington is the play here ..

Almost grabbed him last week but was too slow in one place. Going to cost more this week.

They have been scheming him open throughout the season, something you like to see.

Jets with another bad head coaching hire. I didn't like it when it was announced. Should have went with an offensive coordinator.

Yep. Or if you're going to hire a DC, hire an innovative one who is brighter and also is a leader of men like Glenn purportedly is.

He's trying, but I don't think he's anywhere near up to the task.

The Jets suck enough on their own, they don't need any help. That was a brutal string of terrible calls and non calls right there. cost them 4 points.

Agreed. The bad call on Wilson then no call on the tackle on Fields.
I give them a pass on the Fields tackle. He's a running QB as evidenced by his earlier touchdown. There was nothing egregious in the defender finishing the tackle.

Is #18 that just fair caught the ball at the 1, the same one that fumbled earlier. If so , do not let him on the plane home.

I was in the middle of thinking rather deeply about fantasy football, paused and thought something looked horribly awry on the screen, but I turned away and stopped contemplating it.

He really did that, didn't he?

That's just one of the worst plays I think I've ever not totally noticed. There's absolutely no excuse for that and it's so bad that it beggars belief.

I'm replaying it in my head. I saw it happen and just—I can't really describe the feeling. Like seeing the ghost of someone you once knew. Kind of those moments where you think of somebody who has passed on.

Assuming they weren't just REALLY UP because of Parsons this week, its really hard to see this Jets team stopping the Cowboys offense at all next week.

I don't think anybody has stopped the Cowboys' offense yet, have they? The Bears kind of did but that seemed like a function of the Bears' offense. That sounds inverted, but I don't think it is.

The Dolphins have 1 team with a winning record in their next 5 games. I smell a playoff run.
Without Tyreek, I doubt it. Plus, we only have 2 good oline players, LT Paul is ascending and C Brewer is very good and a scheme fit. The other 3 are at or near the bottom.

I am going to lose this game to Achane.

Because the Jets can't line up and stop Miami's two threats.
The Jets absolutely gave up, how embarrassing.
You can’t blame the defense for waiving the white flag. They can’t throw the football, so coming from behind is a near impossibility.

That's exactly what I was thinking, but I think two things:

They can throw the football at times, but it needs to be when teams think they will run
The coaching staff hasn't really figured that out yet

I think Dallas got a little...lets say slow to adjust, when Lamb went down. They obviously were better when they had time to plan for no Lamb.

Would love some Breece Hall garbage time, but we've decided to take our best back out of the game.

Davis looks good (he's better than Allen, by the way) so maybe this is an FF lament, but I don't know.

Breece is averaging nearly six a carry tonight and that's over like twelve or thirteen carries. He needs to be traded.

Yeah if you're going to use him as a committee back, trade him but the Jets are too stupid. They love being awful.
