He only ended up with 4 picks

Rd 1 - #17(17) Jarvis Moss (DE) Florida

Rd 2 - #24(56) Tim Crowder (DE) Texas

Rd 3 - #6(70) Ryan Harris (OT) Notre Dame

Rd 4 - #22(121) Marcus Thomas (DT) Florida

Does this mean he is sure hiw week 1 starter is on the roster?

Does he still sign an undrafted RB?

No not surprised at all! Denver needed help with pressuring the opposing QB's and the draft reflected that. The week 1 starter is on the roster and his name is Travis Henry. The week 2- end of season (Superbowl) starter is on the roster and his name is Travis Henry.

They did have more pressing needs, I just thought he would have taken a chance on someone being his current RB's consists of players that up to now have not been able to take over a starting role, and his starter, has never played a down for him yet.Maybe if they would have had more day 2 picks

Yeah, maybe. He gave up that luxury when he traded all his extra picks to move up in the first round. I think he is pretty confident with Henry. If there does happen to be an injury to Henry then There is still Mike Bell, Cedrick Cobbs, Cecil Sapp, and whoever else they may add between now and the start of the season. (Chris Brown??? Possibly???? He did play college ball here.)

I'd be willing to wager a small amount of meney that an undrafted free-agent RB will be signed this week, and that signing will spawn at least 4 threads.

My guess is Tyrone Moss.

I saw a Shanny interview earlier today on some channel and he stated he sees Henry being a 1500 yard back with 30 carries a game. Always a crapshoot with the DEN backfield tho.

do not under stand why some think this. Last year was a mess for Denver's RB but before that they have always used 1 RB and that RB has put up good/great FF #s. 2005 was for the most part RBBC(Bell and Anderson) but Anderson was a solid #2 RB that year and Bell was a solid flex play. Henry will be easy top 10 and outside shot at top 5.

Henry's stock just climbed considerably IMO.
I don't know, they had too much money invested in Travis Henry to fool around with anyone else. Henry's already the highest-paid Denver RB since Terrell Davis. In football, there are always exceptions, but in the end, teams tend to do most of their talking with their money. Denver's money said loud and clear that Shanny thought Henry was the guy. He might sign a developmental prospect or two, because Shanny loves him some RB depth and developmental prospects, but this season is definitely the Travis Henry show.

It's the Travis Henry show all day all night this year. Andre Hall and Selvin Young now take over as the Broncos "sleeper" backs.

They gave Henry $12 million in guaranteed cash. He's the perfect back for their system. If he stays healthy and Cutler performs adequately, he should have a very big season.
