Moobin at the Redskins Combine- FFA full of conservative nerds . (1 Viewer)

I toured Lambeau Field wearing my Polamalu jersey as I owned no Packer gear. Packer fans were very kind; one of the employees told me how much they respect the Steelers and another gave me a  for my jersey.

Two big differences between me & the OP:

1. I was respectful and asked questions - because I was genuinely interested.

2. I also bought a Packers T shirt & an Aaron Rogers mini-figure.

Touring Lambeau was on my sports bucket list & I enjoyed every moment...even ate at that restaurant across the street (Kohls?).

You wore your teams jersey at Lambeau??? You heathen!!!!!!

If you read the thread I said 95% of what I've said was hyperbole.

I don't even have any cowboys stuff anymore. Mostly because I wanted to distance myself from the majority of fans who jumped on the bandwagon in the 90s.

98% of this thread is me completely trolling the nerds here who got all bent out of shape.

You people take the innerwebz and life waaay too seriously.

I will say that after reading the majority of the responses in this thread I'm likely going to at least buy an Emmitt or Deion jersey now.

Bunch uptight old fogies.

I wish there were a master thread with links to threads that go the exact opposite direction of how the OP thinks they will. One of my favorite things in the FFA.

So you took the chance for a really cool experience from some real fans so you could go act like a tool? Don't get me wrong Steady, I think you're a stand up guy. But I don't get the doosh move here at all.
I'm brining a Redskins fan with me as my guest. I don't want to but I figure he would enjoy it more then the Giants fan I wanted to bring.I know it's pretty dooshy but as a lifelong Cowboys fan, how can I not wear my colors INSIDE the Redskins facility?
I'm a huge Cowboy fan and there's no way I'd do this. I'd go on the tour and appreciate the experience. If anyone asks I'd tell them I'm a Cowboys fan but would show gratitude for being there. It's about being respectful.
F them. F their fans. F their entire organization.

Being respectful, GTFO with that nonsense.
Umm, it's just football, dude. I love the game but ultimately it's a bunch of millionaires throwing, running and catching footballs.

This is EXACTLY the way I expected it to go.

I planned on trolling the Redskins and you guys in this thread. So far it's going pretty well considering I've been pretty transparent from the first post.

I'm not sure we all agree on what's happening in this thread.

I learn something new here everyday. "Trolling" is actually lying to everyone and then saying gotcha.

So, your backtrack here is that you were not trying to upset Redskins fans, players or the organization, but rather that you were seeking to sow discord generally. I maintain my position that you have some growing to do.

Unlike most here I'm not concerned with what guys think of me nor do I take this board, Facebook or pretty much anything on the internet seriously.

I forgot to mention that I don't actually own any Cowboys stuff anymore. The closet thing I have is a Emmitt Smith Florida Gators jersey.

I think I have a Cowboys wool cap someplace in my garage.
So you're making all this up now?
I guess he is going to rent all of the Cowboys gear he plans on wearing head to toe, since he doesn't own any.
But that's the point. He started this thread so he could say he won a contest, was gonna dress head to toe in Cowboys gear, disparage Redskins fans, and then tell us he doesn't have any Cowboys gear except for a wool hat he used as a cum sock while thinking of Tom Wopat.

Pretty funny stuff don't you think? He sure got me.
He forgot to mention that he needs to acquire a ticket so he can get into the Redskins combine because he really didn't win that either.

Which is why you're responding to every single post.

You're a Mexican, right?
No but I'm not sure what my race would have to do with anything.

Lol at giving me grief because I joke about chiding Redskins fans an my fellow FBGers but this kinda stuff just gets passed over.

Hence why I don't take this place seriously.

What's this contest you're talking about ? I didn't win any contest.

For some vague reason, and I can't really put a finger on it, but for some vague reason you remind me a lot of lhucks.

We did a scrimmage at Lambeau a couple years ago (single digit row, mid-field) and it was awesome. Especially my oldest son wearing his Payton Jersey (mine from when I was his age) and I wore Bears stuff too. The Cheese-Heads gave us a hard time, but not too bad, in a friendly way. I wouldn't have allowed him to do something similar at Vetrans in Philly. Always Be Kind To The Locals in a stadium with a holding cell.

Good for you man. Glad you and your sons enjoyed yourself.

What's this contest you're talking about ? I didn't win any contest.
So I won by calling in our local espn radio show and me and a guest get to participate in a rookie combine. 40 yard dash, virticle jump, pass catching drills, and so forth.
Contest, whatever you won something.

Anyway, I'd love to see you running routes and trying to catch the ball in your Cowboys jersey with the ball flying 10 feet over your head.

Have a blast!

'Lol! I don't really care about what anyone thinks!'

1. Starts thread asking what everyone thinks.

2. Is going to purposefully stick out at a social function to get a rise out of those there.

3. Repeatedly re-enters his thread (in which he intentionally solicits others' opinions) to defend his decision.

Yeah, ok.

Didn't you say earlier in the thread that this is exactly what you did? Well, okay, you jumped on it in the 80s rather than the 90s. Are 80s bandwagon jumpers somehow better than 90s bandwagon jumpers? Do 80s BWJ (Band Wagon Jumpers) have actual disdain for 90s BWJ?

I was being sarcastic about me being a bandwagon jumper cause the boys weren't that great in the 80s.

The whole thing is stupid. Teams always get popular when they're good. Calling cowboy fans bandwagon fans sorta loses it's negative luster when they have sucked for the better part of the last 20 years.

Make sure to go hi-five some bros over chicken wings and lite beer at the b-dubs after.
I would recommend icing some bros too. Icing seems to be such a lost art these days.
I made a reference to bros icing bros a few days ago at work, nobody knew what I was talking about... Glad someone else hasn't forgotten about this.

:hifive:
Forgotten? I still have some stocked in my fridge. Just in case.
