Movies you can't remember the name of... (1 Viewer)

I don't know if this has been done here before but there was a movie I watched as a kid that's been rattling around in my brain every now and then but I could never remember what it was. The ending had a nuclear bomb go off while the main characters were flying away in a helicopter. They ended up crashing and dying.

Could not remember it for the life of me and the internet was not as helpful as I thought. Took an hour of reading message boards and such to find out it was Miracle Mile.

So is there a movie you watched in your long past that you just can't remember the name of? Maybe we can help each other out.

 
Somebody figured it out YEARS ago here but I still dont remember it...

It was about a dude who was like half man/half machine. He could attach different limbs or weapons to his arm. He was also half battle tank on the bottom at one point in the movie. He rolled with a gaggle of fellow freaks and in the end had to fight the guy/scientist who created/ built him.

I need help with that one... where that guy did that thing... with that other guy, who did that one other thing. you know it also had the older guy who was in that one movie.

I'm pretty sure that's Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope. Sir Alec Guinness was the older guy.

 
Not a movie... but I used to watch a show on cable as a kid back in the 70's. I think it was Japanese, dubbed over with english voices. It was a about a kid who was befriended by a family of three robots, one the father, another the mother, and the last a kid. The robots could turn into jets and he could fly inside of them. Whenever he needed their help I think he blew a whistle a certain way so they knew which one he was calling. It was kind of like watching the old Godzilla movies. Have no idea what the name of it is.

A gangster dumps a victim of his in his private pool and then opens a cage with a shark that attacks the guy, not Austin Powers... No clue what movie it is and Google has not helped.

The one where the guy and girl who are long time best friends finally realize at the end that they are in love.

First thought is Godzilla vs. Mothra, but I don't think that's it.

The one that follows the life of a kid named Forrest Gump. He's involved in a bunch of historical events and I think he starts a 3-hour boat tour business with an armless Steve Buscemi.

My first thought is Philadelphia, but I don't think that's it.

What was the name of that movie with the bus that had to go over a certain speed, and if it dropped below that speed, the speed bomb would make it blow up?

I think it was called "The bus that Couldn't Slow Down".
