Yeah, I agree with you and Zamboni above. If I really like a movie I will watch it over and over and probably not tire of watching it over the years. From day to day, sometimes I am not in the mood for a genre movie, but Back to the Future and Karate Kid are 2 I would watch any day any time. Movies like Jaws or Boogie Nights or Hereditary or The Cable Guy sometimes I am not in the mood for that day (but will forever me in my collections). The list is very long.
Jaws can be watched on any day. The other's I could understand. But not Jaws. If it gets stumbled upon I will finish watching it every time.Movies like Jaws or Boogie Nights or Hereditary or The Cable Guy sometimes I am not in the mood for that day (but will forever me in my collections).

Interesting - I'm a big fan of this movie, but need a fair amount of recovery before watching it again. Also not the best to watch certain scenes - it's a package experience to me.Apocalypse Now

ChatGPT says that this list says this about me (and I'd say it's pretty accurate, if a bit generic):
You’re thoughtful, emotionally intelligent, and appreciate high-stakes human stories, whether they unfold in space, war, childhood, or dreams. You're inspired by transformation, honor, and resilience. You admire craft and rewatch movies that keep giving on multiple viewings—both emotionally and intellectually.

I saw it for the first time about 5 years ago. It was fine. I don't really have a desire to watch it again.Casablanca

There is one line I try to insert into conversation more than others:
He's just like any other man, only more so.
Part of the appeal for me is the circumstances around which it was made, while the fate of the war in Europe was still in doubt, but there's some subtle humor in the writing, like the quote I listed, that I haven't gotten enough of yet...I saw it for the first time about 5 years ago. Of them, Miracle is one of the better ones. I would just rather watch a documentary about the events or the actual replay of the games. Not terrible, I'd just rather watch a different type of movie.Agreed. Never saw Hoosiers, Field of Dreams or Bull Durham. I generally don't like sports movies.I like watching sports. I did like Miracle though.
This is my comedy wheelhouse.Captain Renault: What in heaven's name brought you to Casablanca?
Rick: My health. I came to Casablanca for the waters.
Captain Renault: The waters? What waters? We're in the desert.
Rick: I was misinformed.
