MUST Watch _ Crime Movies (1 Viewer)

Just about every Christmas break I watch the Thin Man series.  Very entertaining but you have to like old movies to appreciate it.

Depends on how you define Crime Movies but here’s a list top of head:

- Goodfellas

- Godfathers

- Die Hard

- The Usual Suspects

- Clue (mindless fun)

- Shawshank?

- And Then There Were None

- Rear Window

- Vertigo

forgetting a lot I’m sure

caper-type flix, i recommend the French classics Rififi & Bob le Flambeur, the Pierce Brosnan remake of the Thomas Crown Affair & an underrated bit o' nonsense called Smokin' Aces

Good question.

Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory.

As an ex-regulatory specialist, I can state with certainty that multiple labor & workplace safety laws were ignored - egregiously.
if you were to inspect the plant, would you give citations for each infraction til you were blue in the face or would you lumpadeedum them into a single charge

If I were the inspector, I'd eat the chocolate covered mushrooms and hit the boat trip first.

Then, I'd do some flying in the bubble tube.

The elevator blast off would be saved for the peak.

I am watching a good one now, The Two Towers.

Part 2 of an epic trilogy about some thieving Hobbits that stole a gold ring from some dead dude - that wasn't totally dead, yet.

Poor ******* tries his best to enact justice, but the commie hoards destroyed his property and brought his house down on him as well.

It's a bleak world there.

You could make a list just of great Cohen Brothers crime films

Fargo

Millers Crossing

No Country for Old Men

A few favorites I've not seen mentioned yet:

Pulp Fiction

The Last Seduction

Cool Hand Luke

Out of Sight

One False Move

Hell or High Water

In Cold Blood
