In theory I imagine this could work. In reality? Don't see it ending well. I've known a few friends (both my age and 20+ years older) who have tried something along these lines. It hasn't worked out for any of them. If you go this route I wish you and the wife best of luck. My personal rule in wilder relationships is to never allow a third to join in if they're someone we're friends with.
