Ok, my commissioner was caught cheating today

Since he has the power to bench players even after they've played, he's been benching guys after they have bad games (i.e., Andruw Jones striking out 5 times which is -10 points)

also, hes been adding random amounts of points during the week to his team (it's a head to head points league)

also, another team cheated...he asked the commissioner to start one of his players (daniel cabrera) after the game had stated because he had forgotten to start him...he says it was only after 5 minutes but who knows?

what should the punishments be? the league is stil trying to decide and any input is welcome. a fine? suspension? expulsion? we have already decided on a new commissioner

Well he obviously should be removed as commish. All illegal moves should be reversed if you know what they were, or he should forfeit the games that you know he cheated during. Throwing him completely out of the league wouldn't be a stretch either.

You have to kick him out of the league. Otherwise he's gonna hold a grudge or start trouble when he can. Next thing he'll do is dump players to another team.Kick him out before he cuts his entire roster and ruins the league.

I say at the very least he should be removed as commish and ordered to paypal the kitty to the new commish. If that isn't done ASAP, then demand your money back and quit. Has he given a response yet? Has he apologized?

The commish cheated, not sure how the other guy cheated. People have #### to do and need help with their lineups on occassion. No big deal and if it becomes a pattern with one guy you deal with it. That's exactly why leagues have a commish.

But cheating is unforgiveable. He's gone, someone else needs to take over.

I'm pretty sure the commish in my rotisserie league has like 3 of the teams because he is constantly using two of them as farm teams for the one he likes the best. He has made some of the most outrageous trades and when I have made offers to these three teams they all get denied within a couple minutes of one another. Just enough time between for a guy to log out and back in under a different name. However, it is a free league and I just make a point of calling him on all his infractions. If this was a pay league I'd be getting my pound of flesh and he'd be GONE!!!

If you have money involved then he is stealing not cheating. Kick his ### and find a new place to play.
