My top 10 qb (1 Viewer)

Blackjacks

Footballguy
1. Romo (same)

2. Cutler (3)

3. Manning (4)

4. Brees (7)

5. McNabb (2)

6. Warner (5)

7. Rivers (6)

8. Rodgers (same)

9. Favre (10)

10. Eli Manning (9)

Brees could throw for 250 a week with me and Verbal Kint at WR. What he's doing with spare part weapons is ridiculous IMO> He's #1.

I'll be the 1st to admit when I'm wrong and thru one week it looks like I was wrong on Favre, good call blackjacks.

I think the top-5 could really be in any order. I agree that Manning was kinda working out the kinks and should be back to normal from here on out. I also think McNabb could be lethal when Curtis comes back and when/if Westbrook gets healthy.

I still think Warner is too high, much rather have Rivers and probably Rodgers if he's good to go.

Matt Hasselbeck will likely be on this list over Eli in a week now that he has NFL WRs again.

No offense, Blackjacks, but you've lost the plot if you are ranking Brees #4. He's putting up #1 numbers without his All Pro WR or above-average TE. Once Colston comes back, Brees is going to be even more $$$ than he already is. And I don't own him.

Brees

Cutler

Romo

Rivers

P. Manning

McNabb

(Healthy) Rodgers

E. Manning

Favre

Warner

And I honestly feel in 2 weeks, Schaub will be in this discussion.

Okay, you bring up a good point. When Colston (out 4 to 5 weeks) and Shockey ( out2-4 weeks) come back he will be lethal. That's a awhile without those guys and whose saying the recovery goes good and they are ready to go when they get back. I love Brees, I think he is great but don't get to carried away with his last 2 games. He played in a shootout in Denver (who's defense can't stop anyone) and he put up big #'s at home against SF. I really like to look at how players do against good competition and rank them accordingly. Now saying that the sky is the limit for him and his other playmakers are really stepping up (I love Meachem's skill) but for now he is going to have to stay behind the BIG 3. (not a horrible place to be.)

Brees is #1 in my league scoring 38/13/35/37. And his highest total was Wk 1 vs. a good Bucs D. He's been lethal without Colston (who remember was hurt & limited in Wk 1 game), and will be moreso without.

The only "good" defenses on his schedule are this week vs. Minny and late in the year vs. Chicago, who Brian Griese torched for 400+.

If Brees puts up numbers vs. the Vikings, there is simply no one he is anything but QB1 going forward with that schedule and Colston back in the fold.

But with Verbal's limp I bet you would outscore him. Great post. I wonder how many guys remember "The Usual Suspects".

I just watched it the other day. I remember the first time I watched it after hearing from everyone how great it was and about 10 minutes before it was over thinking to myself "what is all the hype about?" and then I watched the end and went and told 5 people they have got to watch it.

Just for the record, Verbal Kint is a FBGs poster here.. named of course after the character you guys are discussing. Thats who I meant. I think he could play flanker and Id be split end.. then again thats because I dont know what flanker and split end mean. At all.
