MyFootballguys (aka My FBG) (1 Viewer)

Finally got everything to sync but couple questions.

1) Any chance of adding Scout as I have a few teams with them and would love to have them automatically import into myfbg?

2) Is there any way to import FFPC prior to 9-11 since waivers are happening starting this week?

I believe most things are working, maybe. A few things:

  1. I can change the sliders for Projectors between David and Maurlie. Those are the only two projectors I see for offense, TD and PK. And I can only see the sliders if I am not behind a firewall or VPN. At least on Chrome.
  2. What are filters? I see nothing there. How do I set filters?
  3. What exactly is the "Expert Rating" supposed to tell me though? e.g. Aaron Rodgers is 99. Lamar Miller is 83. Not quite sure what that means in this context.

What's the summary here now that week one is upon us? My morning toilet time is my most valuable fantasy research time so I need to know what I can use on my smart phone. 

Is this accurate?

1) new mobile app is garbage

2) new myFBG site is ok, while clunky, but is lacking many features 

3) myfbg Classic is back up and seems to work as in past

 
I still need to click 6 times to change the filter from one position to another in the new myFootballguys.   Any idea when this will be fixed?

Also, I cannot get anything to sync in Microsoft Edge. I get the message "Footballguys Cloud is syncing... please stand by!" but nothing happens.

 
The calculations on "MyFBG classic" appear to be incorrect.
 
It definitely appears that my Scoring Settings are NOT being saved in the system when synced with NFL.com league...and as a result the calculations are way off.   See screenshot link below.

1.  It seems like Passing Yards are NOT being counted in the score....even though my scoring settings ARE correct.  
2.  For all players, seems like fractional TD's (rushing, passing, or receving) are not calculating to fractional projected FanPt's.
 
Have tried Firefox, Chrome, logged-out /in, you name it.  It's not an issue on my side!

Hey FBG, what's up with the My FBG section?  I'm only seeing classic?

I wasn't a huge fan of the new style, but buckled down and figured out the best way to use it for my needs.  I was going to go back to the Classic when everything slowed down with my drafts, but I hadn't set it up yet.  Now it's gone?  Temporarily or forever?  Either way... come on guys.

Now that time put into the new MyFBG is wasted?  Crap.  A heads up would have been nice that it was going away.  I could have logged in and transitioned everything over to the Classic version ahead of time.

I love this site, but the way you guys have handled this entire thing has been a clusterF.

*Edited* to add that I now see that you guys are trying to make a smoother transition to the Classic view by linking the new version to the old.  I still would like to know if the new version is coming back "new and improved" or should I just settle in to the Classic version, like I would eventually have done anyway.  I realize you're trying to fix it, and thanks.  It's still weird this wasn't done in the offseason though, with a beta test of sorts months before the FF seasons started.

Hey Folks. For now, we're asking everyone use the MyFBG Classic. We've got some new features on the MyFootballguys that we are still working out and with the season here, it just wasn't ready.

The new MyFootballguys and the MyFBG Classic both share the same entry screen. So everything entered in MyFootballguys will transfer over to MyFBG Classic.

One thing - No IDP rankings are showing up.  I know they have to be ready, since season's in 3 days, but it doesn't seem to be migrating to MyFBG for weekly rankings.

 
The link still works.  It is my.footballguys.com - We just felt it was better to pull it off the menu for now until it is further along

 
Is Classic working correctly?  I get the "we've got a new system in place" note, so I click on the "click this link" line, which takes me to a page that says "your leagues" at the top, but no leagues appear.  When I click on "import myFBG leagues" nothing happens.  When I click on "add league" and enter my league name, nothing happens.  When I click on "go back to MyFBG classic" nothing happens

 
@Joe Bryant Where has the "create custom draft list" gone? I have 3 more drafts still and that option seems to have disappeared.

I thought maybe the "Custom 200 forward" list might serve as that, but when i click on that it says it'll be available in week 2. 

Please advise

Come on ... I have Mike Evan ranked 64th, sandwiched between 63 Yeldon and 65 Blount!  :thumbup:

 
I have 4 leauges that are all listed on the new MyFBG screen.  They all say that they are linked and synced.  However, when I go to the Classic page, it lists only 3 of the 4 leagues.  Is this a common issue?

I keep getting the "scroll down to select your team from the menu" and then it only has one team available to select...i think I am moving on to something else.

The draft list algorithm in the new myfootballguys is good.  The algorithm in the old myfbg for draft lists is crazy - backup RBs (like Tevin Coleman) are typically worth more than some of the top-20 WRs!

I feel like it's backwards. The new one seems way off for me. I've had kickers and defenses in the top 50 and ahead of some solid RB and WR options. The old ones seems way more realistic.

 
Regarding the new version's Lineup Coach:

Great: Projections column, which is an average of Dodds and Tremblay (and presumably Bloom when he makes projections).  I always wanted this and often end up making a quick average of a few players for my last flex spot.

Weak: Doesn't list the rest of the roster that it doesn't recommend.  This is crucial when considering risk.  Let's say I have church commitments until after kickoff.  I'd rather select a healthy guy who's projected 1 point below the Questionable guy listed as my final recommended flex.

That's true about kickers/D.  I was just talking about relative RB/WR values.  I had the Kickers and Ds filtered out.

 
I know it's down for now but wanted to pass along some suggestions for the new MyFBG.  It'd be nice if latest news could be included when clicking on a player.  It's nice to know a player's outlook but it is not helpful when that outlook is usually from back in July or early August.  I want to know latest news without having to go and search for the player in the FBG Pro page.  

Also, when refreshing rosters during a draft, it was really annoying to have to click the Refresh icon, being told that the rosters were refreshed, but then having to select the filter again and apply it for the updates to show.  Clicking the refresh icon should refresh the list automatically.

 
Am I missing something?  It looks like I need to manually resync each league everytime that I want to use this feature.  This may not be an issue for some but it is a nuisance when you have more than 30 leagues.  Last year it synced automatically and there was a button to sync all leagues at one time.

I've noticed that. I'll add a player, then go check the next day and my roster isn't updated. Last year's version was pretty on point about syncing in real time.

I was hoping to get a response of "yes, you fool, you're missing something."  Ugh.  This really sucks when you look at something like the 10 second primer because I need to spend 10 minutes refreshing all rosters -- and then hoping that no one picks up any players while that happens.

 
Does anyone know how to unlink an email account? The new myFBG keeps forcing me into a wrong ESPN account and I cannot stop the automatic login. This is beyond frustrating. 

 
This syncing issue makes it just about useless for me.  It messes up the starting requirements and my scoring system every time I sync, so I also have to fix that.

 
Still can't sync.

Is that specific to older OS's or is everybody having the same problem?

In the same boat as the others here, can't sync and don't have any use for the site right now. Use a different browser and the sync process tells me it is done, but nothing updated.

 
Just worked for me. I clicked on Edit/Update League link on the MyFBG Admin page, was prompted to enter my U/N and PW, then clicked the sync link for each of my leagues.

 
Pet Peeve: forgetting to sync!  I check rankings / 10 second weekly primer / top 200 I get all excited, go to pick up player and get completely disappointed  :sadbanana:  Ah well, story of my life.

If you bookmark the sync rosters for all leagues link and use that as your entry point to FBG, that's the best advice I can give there for now. This is definitely something we will automate for 2017 and are working on that right now to get that system 200% seamless and without issues.

 
Yahoo's API is currently experiencing some issues that is affecting syncing to Yahoo leagues. This is on Yahoo's side; it's affecting other providers who do similar things to MyFBG also.
