Nashville Homers (1 Viewer)

I noticed during the Music City bowl that the field looked bad and effected the kicking game.

Now I see that it's raining there right now.

Forecast calls for clearing by 2:00 CST.

Looking to see some locals thoughts on the conditions for today and seeing if the field conditions could actually help Vince Young and his running today.

Not Nashville but Memphis. It pretty much drizzled all day yesterday, beginning late Friday night and lasting well into last night here. Nashville weather is generally about 8-10 hours behind us so they probably still have a few hours of rain left to go right now. If the field is susceptible to getting waterlogged at all, it's probably in pretty rough shape.

In Nashville now watching it rain. It has been raining since about 6pm last night. Remember this is the same field same condition as when Bironas kicked the 60 yarder, sans rain. It is going to be sloppy. I think it affects both sides equally but COULD help Titans if it impedes the NE WR at all. I think Titans D, Scaife, and Lendale off the bench surprise.

After watching the Music City Bowl, I was really concerned the field could turn to slop today with some rain. Its been nothing but rain since 2PM yesterday, so it will probably get interesting.

Id expect the Titans to do alot of running in an easy win.

Wouldnt play Vince Young.
