Nate Clements, just 1weak/week1 Performance? (1 Viewer)

Nate Clements (SF - DB) .. was taking high in the live draft over the summer .. just 1 ### in week1..

what u prediction for him.. back to the DB1 type with some kickreturn Td?

im asking coz i could trade for him N.Webster of Den .. i know that he is the starting MLB of them but in Den anything can happened and from what i read be4.. here.. not every1 high on him.. still he gave good strong output so i guess the other side would agree.. .

Keep Clement. Webster is nothing special.

Basically, don't panic and trade proven players like Clement unless you get a real talent in return. Webster is nothing but a replacement level player.

Clements had a similar game last year against the Cards in week #1 also... and he went on to have a very good year. Especially the 2nd half of the season

nate had a great game.

he locked on fitz and did a great job...and az ran the ball pretty consistenly between teh tackles all second half with some bolden sprinkled in.

basically, he didnt have opportunites . keep him

Clements was burned by Fitz on the TD pass, but not much any CB would do there.

When I watched the game, it looked like he was matched up with Fitz for most of the game. Other than the TD, Fitz didn't do a whole lot. The Cardinals definitely seemed to focus heavily on the running game and Clements was around the ball a lot but generally a step or two late to make any tackles. I think he was just more focused on 1-on-1 coverage with Fitz in this game, and the Cardinals went away from that matchup for most of the game. That trend may continue, but I'd still hold onto him.
