NBA 2012-13 Back to the Future League (1 Viewer)

It's criminal that Thornton, who is a top 50 player on every site I've looked at but one, fell in to the 100's. Bizarre that a bench guy like Dudley draws applause but a 19ppg sg like Thornton gets ignored.
Sacramento's lineup is a complete question mark. I really questioned myself for not taking him, but his role this year is not going to be the same as last year...

Strange that you passed on him just a few picks ago....

Why in the world does No. 16 still have signature links to spreadsheets that are all jacked up for a basketball league that died?

And why do I care after making a stupid pick of Nene in the first round of that league?

I had Brook Lopez and Tyreke Evans. Really bummed that I'll never get to see that through.

5.8 PF Taj Gibson

Not in love with any of the wingmen left or the centers either, so I'll grab a young all-defensive forward who can round out my big man rotation. With Asik gone and Boozer sucking he should get more minutes. He can hit the mid range jumper so on offense he can play with Zbo at center and cross match against the better defensive player. Davis and him are probably similar offensive players at this stage of their careers, but the defense should be amazing.

***TRADE ANNOUNCEMENT***

COlin gives:

4.22 pick: Damian Lillard

7.22

TRE gives:

5.9

6.16

Really had my heart set on pairing Lillard and Beal and rolling the dice. Giving up a whole round on the back end to see it happen.

I'm giving up lillard - who I like - for a 30 pick jump in the next round. Seems worth it to me since lillard was my sixth man. The guy im taking here is similar in usage for me as lillard so it hopefully works out. Including this one I have 4 of the next 40 picks, iirc

5.9 - Lou Williams - sg/pg - Atlanta Hawks.

Nice. Great trade for you and Lou is perfect for the 6th man role.

The deal with tre was actually for thornton. When he was selected tre was nice enough to email asking if there was anyone else still available I might consider for the lillard package. Williams was close enough (and may even turn out as well as Thornton). I'm not smart enough to say that I knew lillard would be more valuable right away than Thornton. But I did ask someone earlier of thornton was dead or in jail because I couldn't fathom why he was sliding.

Open to trading anyone on my team. I like all the players but the fit could be a bit better between my starters.

for Scoobus - 5.04 Jared DudleyThis is just fantastic value right here. Dudley is in line for major minutes this year. Little known fact - his nickname is Mr. Inside/Outside - for his ability to score from anywhere on the court. To be honest I feel completely schooled here by Scooby because Dudley should have been drafted 2 rounds ago and I let him slide from my grasp. Congrats to the scoobymeister for wrapping up the championship here in the 5th round!! :confetti: :excited:
  Now that's an awesome write-up right there.
