NBA BTTF III - Draft Over! War of attrition underway... (1 Viewer)

Whata a quick way to figure out how minutes you need and whether or not you've got them?
Divide each player's total minutes by 82 to get the per-game minutes you'll be able to use them in the sim. You can probably round up. Then try to assemble a depth chart with 48 minutes at each position.

ETA: You said quick way, so you could just add up the total minutes for the 12 guys you want to roster and see if you can get close to 19,680 (82*48*5).

I have enough minutes to not roster Isaiah Canaan. Screw point guards who can't pass.

In a related note, Isaiah Canaan is available for trade if you're really desperate.

only when he's standing on a 2 inch pile of solid muscle

I'm missing something. I figured Landry's 58% true shooting and 14.9 PER would have at least get a decent return. Must be a race thing.

I can run a 5 man SG/SF rotation

SG - Terry 20

SG - Brewer 25.5

SF - Iguodola 25.3

SF - Carter 13.3

My PG combo is 6 min per game short, and I cant use any SG cause I need their minutes above.

PG - Wroten 10.9

PG - Turner 22.6

Am 4 minutes short for my PF

PF - Smith 27.9

PF - Humphries 16.4

And 10 minutes short at C

C - Howard 14.9

C - Frye 22.8

Sending me Howard and Humphries for Jason Thompson (24.3mpg) and Hollis Thompson (21.6mpg) would take care of your front court.

Looking to trade high-quality low MPG players for lower-quality high MPG players. Terrence Jones, Anderson Varejao, Marco Belinelli available, among others.

Looking to swap Lance Stephenson (1573 total minutes, 19.19/82 games) for big man minutes (>= 1400 total minutes) or a SF!!

Holla!

So I had no clue before No. 16 sent me an offer, but wow did Lance fall off a cliff this year. 56.4 TS% last year, 41.9 TS% this year. I mean that's gotta be the record for biggest drop off from one year to the next, any way to check that?

######. BTW his DEF, REB, and AST should be good.

Yeah I was pretty interested in the offer. Then I looked up Lance. Less interested, but he could end up with a good d rating.

He averaged 4.5 REB and 3.9 AST and with a good DEF rating he'll still be useful.

You have any extra minutes?

Oof - I'm hurting big time for minutes, especially in the front court.

I'll probably need to trade one of Lawson/Wade/Knight for a quality PF/C with lots of minutes. I may even be willing to trade Durant for a good player with more minutes too, but I'll need to dig into the numbers a little more later.

I guess there won't be a repeat this year.

PG Rondo 25, Burke 28, Barrea 17

SG Kobe 15, McCollum 12, Neal 15

SF Johnson 27, Babbitt 10

PF Parker 9, Anderson 20, Williams 18, Payne 9

C Asik 24, Adams 22, Aldrich 12, Freeland 7

Projected Minutes:

PG- Rondo 25, Barrea 17, Burke 6

SG- Burke 22, Neal 14, McCollum 12

SF- Kobe 15, Johnson 27, Neal 1

PF- Anderson 20, Williams 18, Aldrich 10

C- Asik 24, Adams 22, Aldrich 2

Still need about 5 minutes, 10 to be safe

I'm not sure since I'm a first-timer, but I might be your guy for a PG/frontcourt trade. Most of my team stayed healthy, but it looks like I have minutes to spare in the frontcourt and could use some big time help at PG or I'd be forced to play Brian Roberts, unless one of my two shameless 6th man gunners is eligible at PG. In fact I seem to have an excess of minutes at all three frontcourt spots?

PG

Darren Collison 17.5 PER (35 MPG x 45 G)

Patty Mills 13.1 PER (16 MPG x 51 G)

Brian Roberts 11.7 PER (18 MPG x 72 G)

SG:

Lou Williams 19.9 PER (25 MPG x 80 G)

Jamal Crawford 16.7 PER (27 MPG x 64 G)

SF:

Nik Batum 13.1 PER (34 MPG x 71 G)

Trevor Ariza 12.7 PER (36 MPG x 82 G)

Alonzo Gee 13.0 PER (12 MPG x 54 G)

Kyle Singler 8.5 PER  (22 MPG x 80 G)

PF:

Brandon Bass 16.4 PER (24 MPG x 82 G)

Cody Zeller 14.2 PER (24 MPG x 62 G)

Glen Davis 10.9 PER (12 MPG x 72 G)

PF/C:

Al Horford 21.4 PER (31 MPG x 76 G)

John Henson 18.1 PER (18 MPG x 67 G)

Kevin Seraphin 12.6 PER (15 MPG x 79 G)

Twelve guys I liked come to 20,335

looking to move a SG for a PF. Can also package one of the PGs and PFs.

something like MCW, Mclemore, and Lee for a PF and backup PG. can also throw in Pondexter for some more minutes. or I can just roll with Tayshaun playing significant minutes at PF if I can't get a deal....

moops, I sent you a PM

Wow...what a pu pu platter of sort of usefulness:

PG:

Brandon Jennings (30min x 41 G) 19.7! PER

Gs who will end up playing PG:

Avery Bradley (31 MPG x 77 G) 11.5 PER :oldunsure:

Marcus Smart (27 MPG x 67 G) 11.0 PER :ouch:

SGs:

Bojan Bogdandovic (23 MPG x 78 G) 11.6 PER

Wayne Ellington (25 MPG x 65 G) 11.6 PER

SFs:

Carmelo Anthony (35 MPG x 40 G) 21.5 PER

Chandler Parsons (33 MPG x 66 G) 16.3 PER

PF:

David West (28 MPG x 66 G) 16 PER

Tristan Thompson (26.8 MPG x 82 G) 15.6 PER

C:

Martin Gortat (29.9 MPG x 82 G) 19.2 PER

Tyler Zeller (21.1 MPG x 82 G) 18.9 PER

Others:

Shabazz Napier (19.8 MPG 51 G) 9.3 PER

Luc Mbah a Moute (28.6 MPG x 67 G) 10.6 PER

Phil Pressley

James Young

Shavlik Randolph

I do have size that I can deal for guard help.

I got 36 total minutes from my 8th and 9th round picks (Kirilenko and Nash)...I was only hoping for 800-1000 minutes between them...with that, I'd really like my team. I still think I can compete for a playoff spot because Budinger and Shved had nice second halves. I finally ran the numbers - I have about 1200 extra minutes at PF (room for one of Collison or Landry).

C - Vucevic 31 ; Mason Plumlee 17

PF - Griffin 29 ; Plumlee 5 ; Landry or Collison 14

SF - Hayward 32 ; Budinger 16

SG - Korver 30 ; Dunleavy 16

PG - Lin 24 ; Shved 10 ; Prigioni 14

I'd like to improve my SG depth, so I can pair up Landry (1190 minutes at 14.93 PER) and Dunleavy (1840 minutes at 11.64 PER) for a better back court player with around 1200 minutes.

Will need to verify that POS eligibility shakes out like I expect it to and the DEF ratings aren't too horrid, but this is what I'm looking at right now...

PG : Monta Ellis - 33 (16.59 PER, 26.3 USG, 51% TS)
Jose Calderon - 15 (11.34, 16.5, 52%)

SG : Lebron James - 15 (26.01, 31.8, 58%)
Anthony Morrow - 13 (14.88, 15.4, 60%)
Leandro Barbosa - 11 (15.33, 19.3, 56%)
Shaun Livingston - 8 (12.91, 16.3, 53%)

SF : Khris Middleton - 23 (15.7, 18.7, 56%)
Tony Snell - 17 (10.19, 13.3, 55%)
Anthony Morrow - 8 (14.88, 15.4, 60%)

PF : Nene Hilario - 21 (14.33, 20.3, 53%)
Lebron James - 15 (26.01, 31.8, 58%)
JJ Hickson - 8 (14.39, 18.3, 50%)
Khris Middleton - 6 (15.7, 18.7, 56%)

C : Jonas Valanciunas - 26 (20.6, 17.3, 62%)
Tiago Splitter - 13 (18.98, 17.2, 60%)
JJ Hickson - 9 (14.39, 18.3, 50%)

I'd listen to offers for Monta Ellis. Need a PG and PF in return.
