This is the guy of the three I didn't consider because he bugs me. Plus I figured he'd have bad defensive ratings but he's actually decent in the sim. All the press on him is going to have to crush that down at some point though.

Ok so there was a third guy who I dismissed because he bugs me, but it came down to two. One I had last year and would be just fine having him again, but the other has a chance to make a leap forward this year and could find himself being a super star all of a sudden when retread guy has probably reached his ceiling already. I know who the next pick should be.

1.09 - PG John Wall

He lead me to a top 4 finish last year, so I think it was a good pick. And for whatever reason, I could play him way above his real season minutes and he never dropped below 100% energy/fatigue.

This year I'm going all youth, starting with a guy who I find generally overrated as a player, but who should be more effective in the sim. 3rd year explosion coming (bust!):
