I have cut my playing down to a handful of 2 dollar GPP'S a night. Not because I was doing poorly, but my husband is now working out of state and I just don't have the time to research properly. I apologize for not sticking out the whole year and helping us all make some nice cash.

 
Been on a terrible cold streak (down about $300 over the last 6 weeks) so I pulled everything out but $150 for something to play with here the last few weeks. Will probably throw a Dribbler and assist entry out there most nights, but not much more.

Learned a lot this NBA season, but so much more to learn. Ended up about even so no money made, but had fun.

 
I am starting to think that we overthink this sometimes.

There is an interesting discussion going on over at Rotogrinders about the winner of the MegaSlam last night. According to his profile on Fanduel, he has only been a member for a week and had only cashed in 7 NBA events before last night. No we don't know if he has played more at other sites or not, but it is very possible that he threw a lineup together without thinking a lot and ended up winning it.

I know I am guilty of overthinking especially if I put my lineups together earlier in the day. I start swapping players around, the when news comes out I swap them around even more. I often wonder how I might have done if I had just left the lineup alone.

Here's to the rest of the season, and I can't wait for football season to get here.

One thing I was warned about in early November when I had some crazy luck and got on a major roll was that NBA DFS gets harder and harder as the season progresses. Back in November tens of thousands of NFL fans were poking NBA with uneducated sticks. They've been gone since January. Like you, those still aboard have learned a lot.

Is T Black getting the start with Hill out?

Who gets the Boozer minutes, Davis or Kelly?

Is Schroder worth a start with Tegue out?

Who benefits more from Wade being out?

What's the play in Mia with Whiteside and Aderson out?

I've come up two very similar lineups tonight. I like both in cash games but need to pick one to be my heavy play. Give me your thoughts.

I like LU #2 a bit more with the increased minutes for MMorris and the KL/Monta combo. Oh and if Danatas doesn't play then I like it even more

Why mess with the lowly Lakers?

Schroder - Yes, definitely.

I'd say Dragic and Chalmers benefit roughly equally as they will handle the balls Wade usually does.

Many will play Haslem. Anderson and Whiteside get a lot of points from defense - I don't think you just replace that 1 for 1.

With a huge slate and lots of options, I'd stay away from bigs in LAL and MIA.

Noel has been awesome lately but it has been against bad teams as well. LAC is not a bad team so he makes me nervous.

Marc Morris has been awesome lately mainly because Knight has been out. I think Knight is still a true GTD as I type this.

So depending on the news depends on which I like better. Big help, eh?

Lin and Clarkson are the only lakers ill use, but yes, Black is starting. Davis and Kelly will get Boozer usage. Schroder yes. Nobody benefits with Wade out. Just pick somebody at random. I want no part aside from Wade and Whiteside. Been burned chasing points with Beasley. No more. Maybe Deng.

D Fken Gallinari 8 LUs shot down in a blaze of ####JU, I hate the NBA, fricken 840pm update that he's out, every Freeken night I get a 0 in my LUs

 
Carnage everywhere. Went heavy due to massive overlay. Half my teams had Noel and the other half had Millsap. Throw in duds from Henderson and Monta and I couldn't even cash being spotted 5000.

Might be time to call it a season and start dabbling in baseball. Four losses in five nights and the good teams seem to be sharing the ball more and the #### teams are seemingly even less predictable. That leaves Boogie. But he doesn't play every night.
 
Any insight on the Cavs all resting today? Boston's defense is < good so it seems like there might be a ton of value on both sides. Not sure who will amass the points for Cleveland tho.

 
So, I haven't played in about 2 weeks when I got some free time today and put in 4 GPP lineups in and I am going to cash in 3. Now I want to play more. So, who wants to learn baseball with me or take me to fantasy baseball school?

Fantasy baseball I know. Daily baseball I'm clueless on. I have no idea how in the world you can predict hitters' performances for ~ 0.7% of their ABs for a season. Seems like you would almost have to play the same core group of hitters for 2 weeks straight.

SP I think can be predicted with enough accuracy to make an educated guess that has a reasonable likelihood of being right.

 
Been dabbling a bit in baseball. The key I have found so far is you have to make sure you get your pitcher right and you need to get a couple HRs from your batters.

Seems like a lot more of a crapshoot than basketball, but has been pretty fun so far and I am sitting about break even. BR management is even more important than basketball because of the varience of hitters.

Subscribed to Rotogrinders. They have a monthly option so I went with that to see if it is something I will want to continue or not.

 
I'm in in draftkings. Decent games for pierce and Nene to get started. I like Terrence Jones a lot for some reason...heavily invested in Dallas at Houston.
