The first, he didn't really go for the ball. The second probably looked worse than it was but anytime you get a guy in the open court like that, its dangerous. At least it is much closer to a flagrant than the one JVG and others were calling on Manu.

The plan was to call timeout as soon as they got possession to get Parker back in the game. When the fast break wasn't there, they called TO.

I'd like to think Manu could be trusted to score on Allen in that situation. Seems like a higher percentage play than letting Miami get its defense set up. But, then again, Manu has been a bit of a disaster tonight.
