No, the ball doesnt have to go in the backcourt for a violation. The issue is that he never was in the front court. Both feet and the ball need to be in the front court. You can straddle the line and dribble from the front to the back court as many times as you want.From the replay I saw, he never had all three things (both feet and the ball) in the frontcourt.I didn't see the play, buy I believe that the ball, not just your foot, has to cross into the backcourt for a violation.Yep, first time was ok, but the second time was clearly backcourt. Blown call may cost Denver their season. That said, how about not allowing OKC to outscore you by 12 in the last three minutes.Didn't he get one foot on line - and then do it again - why is that not back court
