*NBA THREAD* Abe will be missed (9 Viewers)

Prediction for tonight:

Heat - 104

Thunder - 97

The Heat play intense defense, force lot's of turnovers, and get huge games from their big three.

Can't wait for tip off!

Lets simplify this:

The Thunder turn the ball over (like the 1st half when they trailed by 7 after shooting 56%), Heat win.

The Thunder don't turn the ball over(like late in the game when they made something like 21 of 25 last shots), Thunder win.

Wade as a driver is one of the elite players in the NBA.

Wade as a jump shooter is just another guy.

Wade got blasted by Westbrook, he's got to be better on D for Miami to turn the Thunder over.

This series is all about Wade for Miami. Somehow I feel like it won't be reported that way if they lose.

Not really. There are multiple variable factors. It can't be assumed that Durant (or anyone) will maintain his level of level of production. In other words, it can't be simplified.

Absolutely right, there are multiple factors...obviously...which make all these predicted scores everyone posts as useless as my post about Wade. Still, if you give me excellent Wade defense and his typical 25-30 point output(career, not this post season), 8-10 of which being free throws and LeBron get his 30/10, i'll take the Heat tonight and in the series.

And Miami has a chance to jump up 10-0 but cannot cash in on the offensive end...now 5-2 instead. Lots of 4 and 5 point swings that Miami conceded to OKC in game 1...so far things are the same.

So much for my prediction. Yet another horrible start for OKC. How good might they be if they actually played well in the first quarter?

‏@SebastianPruiti: When is Scott Brooks going to get tired of falling behind early because Kendrick Perkins is in?

I have to think Thunder fans have to be insanely frustrated by Westbrook, no? The guy keeps shooting even though he is 1-7. And he will continue too. I understand that is the plan sometimes, but this guy seems to make poor choices quite a bit

He could easily be the undoing...in fact if somehow the Thunder were to lose this series you gotta think that Westbrook shooting a lot of bricks would be part of that tale.

Wade needs to realize that a step back jumper is not a good shot. Shoots 37% from that range to begin with and probably lower when stepping back... terrible. Lucky for Miami, Westbrook is out dumbing him tonight.
