Good info here. Scheyer could be loving life on this team as a spot up shooter. Damian Johnson was a big defensive guy in MN...active, lots of steals/blocks.

DaSean Butler, Dexter Pittman and Jarvis Varnando seem like pretty good filler types for 2nd round picks for Miami. A couple of bigs and a forward that can D up. Reminds me of the Celts with Big Baby/Powe types.

They also still have Mario Chalmers, who can guard PGs and shoot open threes. He's a good fit as the PG who won't really be playing PG. Cheap, too. I think he's a minimum contract. They also still have Michael Beasley. Maybe Beasley gets it together with Miami Thrice in town to take the pressure off of him.

Chalmers is a perfect fit, and I believe he is a very affordable 850,000. He can play D. Wasn't a great 3 point shooter though, last season. But he will be seeing a ton of open looks.Beasley has to go, no question. His best asset is his offense, which is not needed at his salary. He is completely disinterested on defense. I think the biggest issue for the Heat is at center. Vanardo was a monster shot blocker in college, but to expect him to play major minutes is a stretch. He and Pittman should combine for about 15 minutes a game.Lebron just mentioned Joel Anthony, but I think he is unsigned right now.

Now that you have come clean on your intentions of leaving the city of Cleveland, and northeast Ohio high and dry, and you have bolted for greener pastures in Miami, there are a few things you need to realize.

Despite your reasons for leaving your hometown city, despite being good ones or bad ones, no one cares anymore. The perception of you leaving the city of Cleveland will trump those every day, over and over until the end of time.

We know you wanted your name to be uttered with the greats. Well here is a news flash.

You can officially wave goodbye to Michael Jordan status. You will never be considered in the same breath as Jordan, and your legacy is now forever tarnished.

What you can say hello to, are endless criticisms.

Welcome to Art Modell status, Lebron.

You will forever be known as a traitor and a backstabber in your hometown and beyond. Not saying you are deserving of such harsh words, but that will not cause it to be any less relevant and on people’s minds, and tongues.
