*NBA THREAD* Abe will be missed (8 Viewers)

Really happy with the game tonight. Feeling pretty confident for the Thunder going into game 2.
:goodposting: Early on OKC was turning the ball over like mad and MIA couldn't miss from 3pt range. Once they settled in, it really looked like OKC was good to go. They seem (to my inexperienced eye) to be REALLY good with 2nd half adjustments this postseason.

One unhappy OKC fan in the arena tonight. The dude who dropped 300 on a ticket for the seat directly behind Alonzo Mourning.
Are you kidding? I'd heckle the &^^%(*)##$ outta him and Pat Reilly. It's not like they can hit you because it would be a much bigger issue.
Yeah, but they snap their fingers and you are watching the game outside the arena.
Either way you're not watching the game :hophead:

Thunder scored on 21 of their final 29 possessions. Durant and Westbrook alone outscored the Heat in the second half, 41-40.

Lebron just standing around on defense the last few minutes.
No.
Yeah, yeah he has.
I guess trying to front the post is technically standing around.
He had several opportunities to help and just stood and watched the guy score. Stop making excuses.
THE HEAT LOST! LET THE LEBRON BASHING BEGIN!!
It's the path he's chosen. Gets what he deserves.

New here?

If you want to pick on somebody on Miami, the guy is Bosh.

34 minutes

10 points

5 rebounds

If he's hurt, don't play him that many minutes. If he's healthy, he's got to get more points and more rebounds.

Mia needs to make some adjustments. Have to make Durant beat you going to his left. Can't jump the ball screens on Westbrook. Play them soft and make him beat you from the outside. He kept splitting yhe jumps and getting into the lane.

He could have helped on 6... 7... 8... of those possessions.

You wouldn't do #### except piss in your pants when Riley turned around.
:lmao: You clearly know nothing about me

I blame Lebron because of his lack of defense, effort, and not making shots late in the game.If the Bulls lost a game, nobody blamed John Paxson...they blamed Jordan. But of course Jordan showed up for big games.

Yeah, I think John Paxson is a fair comparison to Chris Bosh.

Sorry, Jordan didn't need a bunch of other superstars to get a ring...oh wait

Wow...new visitors to this thread making it almost unreadable.

If somebody were new to the NBA for the first time tonight and they spent the post game watching Benson and Timscrochet argue about basketball on the internet while listening to Magic Johnson and Chris Broussard argue about basketball on tv, they would pretty much shoot you in the face and turn on golf or something.

There's gotta be a better alternative to this.

Why not provide it? What do you think the keys were to the result tonight?

Matt Winer, Kenny Smith, and Chris Webber are hosting NBA GameTime on NBA TV. It's about a billion times better than what's on ESPN.
