At the risk piling on, LA looks much better with Kobe on the bench.Who is Kobe shutting down now? Because wade and Lebron are doing whatever they want

Raise your hand if you don't think Kobe plans on playing until he is 50 so he not only gets the scoring record but also adds about 10,000 points to it so it's safely out of reach. So Kobe is in his 17th season and has 30,000 points and 5600 assists. Whereas Lebron is in year 10 and has 20,000 points (youngest ever to reach that milestone) and already has over 5000 assists.

Unfortunately turnovers are part of the game.If the Lakers weren't turning the rock over, this wouldn't even be close.
Yeah, and the Lakers haven't turned it over 16 times in a half in probably 20 years.Unfortunately turnovers are part of the game.If the Lakers weren't turning the rock over, this wouldn't even be close.
...and there he gives up a triple. It's fun watching LeBron marking Kobe.
You think? Early in the clock, but he was WIDE open. Not going to get a better look the whole possession.Terrible shot for James there.
Ball movement had been working quite well in prior possessions. Lakers are terrible defending when the ball moves. You think? Early in the clock, but he was WIDE open. Not going to get a better look the whole possession.Terrible shot for James there.
Miami was 2-29 in the first half when the Lakers were able to get in there half court defense. Either way, if that falls, it's a dagger. Just ####### agree with me already Brit!Ball movement had been working quite well in prior possessions. Lakers are terrible defending when the ball moves. You think? Rest of team: 23/47Luckily for Kobe, Lebron didn't guard him all game. Embarrassing to watch him continue to clank bad shot after bad shot after bad shot throughout the game when the Heat have no answer for Gasol or Howard down low.8/25

No one.So who did Kobe guard?
He got ninth most in the league. That's not bad. Who did I bet? What email address do I send your $50 to?I thought Lin was going to get 50 gazillion votes or something.
Even China won't vote that much for the worst PG in the west.I thought Lin was going to get 50 gazillion votes or something.
I was at the game last night so I don't know how much off the ball stuff they showed on T.V., but I was blown away by how hard all the other guys (except for Wade) worked to get LeBron open. In the 1/2 court set they would run multiple high pics to free him up and if that somehow didn't work they'd reset and just try the same thing again until it did. They really emphasized this when Howard was out of the game, resulting in multiple layups for James, usually right over Gasol. As bad as Kobe was, I think Nash played worse. His decision making was really poor last night. Some of that I attribute to the aggressive double teams the Heat were throwing at him, but much of it was unforced.Good game to watch last night regardless.Ball movement had been working quite well in prior possessions. Lakers are terrible defending when the ball moves.
Rotoworld.comAlvin Gentry and the Suns have agreed to "mutually part ways," according to a press release, and an interim coach is expected to be named in the next 24-48 hours.First of all, wow. Secondly, we can't say that it comes as a total surprise. Gentry's name has been mentioned by several when talking about coaches on the hot seat, and the Suns have had a miserable start to the season. Phoenix is 13-28 and last in the Pacific Division. Yahoo's Adrian Wojnarowski reports that the favorites for the interim coaching position are Elston Turner and Lindsey Hunter.
Was inevitable with him refusing to play Wes JohnsonDon't know what more Gentry could have done with this squad. The inevitable post-Nash slide was coming sometime. Glad it's coming now and not 2-3 years down the road if we kept Nash & continue to just be mediocre instead of very bad. Too many complimentary players. Suns need a few bad years to find a go to player.

Got it. Frankly he has been too pedestrian to have won the spot. At some point even the Asian market is going to get bored with 12 and 6. That said, i am surprised that harden didn't appear to fare better. He got ninth most in the league. That's not bad. Who did I bet? But Houston is going to make MILLIONS by overpaying for him.So the Chinese will vote for Asian-Asians, but not Asian-Americans?
