I really don't think Miami gives a #### about a December matchup with Indiana, for the reasons I explained earlier. If they're willing to sit Wade for the second game in a row against a Chicago team they absolutely hate, I think we can safely say they're taking it easy for now. They probably figure they're more likely to beat Indiana in May with a fresh Wade and Bosh and three home games than with a worn-down Wade and Bosh and four home games.Indiana has to have the toughest 3 game stretch coming up that any team will play all year:
Away at Spurs Saturday
Away at Thunder Sunday
Home against Heat Tuesday
Talk about a gift to the Heat scheduling the first Indy/Miami game of the year right after an absolutely brutal road trip for Indy.
This is a brutal road trip, though. I just took a look at the schedule, didn't realize this was just a continuation of the trip that had them in LA and Portland several days ago. Jesus.
