Hey, I have nothing better to do then iFight with everyone on Footballguys.
You started it though right? Doosh.
I stated a fact. You have no idea what you are talking about.
Warriors are out of the playoffs, pretty sure I know that much.
Man, you live a sad life. My condolences.
At least I'm not passive aggressive, so I got that going for me, which is nice. Can't say the same for you though, good luck with that. :hifive:

I'm not a huge M. Jackson fan but it will be weak if they can him.
I think he is kind of insincere at times, and he bugs me for some reason, but no way should he be let go. That team played its heart out for him against a great, well coached team and were a couple of plays away from knocking them off.
Agree with this.

I also agree with another post above it seems to be a foregone conclusion. Believe it was Jermaine O'neal that said as much recently.

Unfortunate for both sides. I don't see Jackson landing in a better spot. And I don't see GS upgrading on him. Next coach will have one hell of a job comparing to what Jackson did to help the team defensively & his relationships with the players. I believe Jackson did a great job in helping to revitalize that franchise.

lol you've been waiting all day to iFight. I'm waving the white flag - you aren't worth my time. Congrats you won on the Internet today. You can go to sleep now.

TNT crew breaking it down nicely right now. Patience. People were calling for Rivers head early in his Boston tenure too. Jackson has room for improvement but they do play hard for him. Bogut injury didn't help and Thompson is overrated.

It's not really a matter of how good Jackson's teams are, he doesn't get along with the front office or most of his coaching staff. He ran off Mike Malone last year.

Also disagree 100% on Thompson being overrated. Perimeter guys with length who can shoot 40% from the arc and are plus-defenders don't grow on trees.

Nothing more satisfying than watching this Grizzles/Thunder game 7, almost as good as that first game today.
Hope you guys aren't watching this.
This has been the best first round of NBA playoffs quite possibly ever. He has no idea what he's talking about.
Yeah, ok putz. The two game 7s today were awful, this game is good but not exactly the best entertainment available. I'm sure you know better though, Warriors about to be sent home though tough guy. :bye:
Doc!

-The Atlanta/Indy series never should have gone to a game 7. remove that one... Eeyore and Co should be ASHAMED that a 38-44 team took them to 3-2 in a 1st rd. An 8th seed in the East! AND YOU CELEBRATE???!?! Championship aspirations, I think NOT!

-The NBA removed the best Memphis threat against OKC for game 7 in ZBo, imagine the FFAWT without the good Dr...just not the same, right? If you watched the 1st 6 games of that series, you would be wearing that NBA hat I sent you, guaranteed. And the nightcap was good fun!

You like NHL more, I can dig that. I only ask you taste the Sorbet, cleanse the palate, get ready for the 2nd round out West. Dame Lillard is worthy of your time man....NBA guy or not.

Then, when you've had your fill of the west, think you've seen everything good about NBA and are fully back on board, watch the King and 3 wipe the floor again with them #####es. Ray from the corner! BOOM! You're dreams are gone!

Seriously, how can you not love this.

Ok, I'll try. Maybe I'll watch this Wizards/Pacers series since it's local. I remember Lillard from college, haven't seen him with Blazers yet. Will check it out.

No 1st rounder for GSW in this draft, it's off to Utah as part of the Biedrins/Jefferson dump. Probably a good deal for GSW, tbh.

All of the principals (except Green, who's a fa after next year) are on board for at least the next two years, so that's good. O'Neal and Blake are FA's. Pretty much going to be the same team coming back next year, unless trades are made.

One of the best Round 1's in history. JMO The Blazers/Rockets was one of the best Round 1 Series I've ever seen period. I think I was more upset to see that series end than I was excited to see all of the Game 7's throughout so far.

Unfortunately 2 of the Game 7's today were arguably the worst contested games in the entire series. Both the 8 in the East and 7 in the West had chances to close out Game 6's at home. That each had previously won games on the road (@Indy/@OKC) had NBA fans really excited for the Game 7s (even if history wasn't on their side to pull off the upset). They just didn't live up to the hype. Hardly diminishes IMO what an outstanding Round 1 this has been.

Thompson is a nice player but if he's your second banana you are nothing special. He can't create shots for anyone nor get to the basket.

There have been eight OT games so far. 10 is the record - for the ENTIRE postseason

Kind of a 2.5th banana, no?

Wizards will beat Indy.

Good run for the Dubs. I didn't expect to win this series with Bogut injured so just happy it went down to the wire with Bogut injured.

This season has been a revelation........ Draymond Green is a keeper. Klay Thompson is a stud. Bradley Beal and Harden are probably the only 2 guards i take over him and considering, but it'd super close, especially considering the fit next to Curry.

The Western Conference is just brutal. I think any of the first-round losing teams in the WC (Dallas or SA, take your pick) could roll anyone in the East except for Miami.

Draymond Green is a keeper.
Draymond never ceases to amazes me. He was a 3-star recruit at MSU. I assumed he'd redshirt his freshman year, but he became a valuable role player. I assumed he'd be a valuable role player again as a sophomore, but he forced his way into the starting lineup. I assumed he'd be a solid starter as a junior, but instead he was the best player on the team. As a senior I figured he could salvage a potentially awful year and get MSU into the tournament again... he was an All-American and State got a #1 seed.

At that point I'm thinking he might get drafted, but he won't actually stick. Then as a rookie he sticks with the Warriors, but it's not like he'll ever do anything, right? Then all of a sudden he's starting for a playoff team and scoring 24 points in Game 7.

People say Draymond is too slow for a 3 and too small for a 4... but really it's way worse than that. He's too slow to be a 4 and too small to be a 3. Yet somehow he just keeps outworking and outsmarting everyone, keeps getting better, and is in line to have a really nice career as a fringe starter. Of course, he couldn't possibly do any better than that...

Warriors are out of the playoffs, pretty sure I know that much.
Man, you live a sad life. My condolences.

Yeah, this Pacers/Hawks game 7 is just edge of your seat excitement. Cutting my toenails is almost as satisfying as the NBA playoffs, but yeah...this is amazing. Way better than the NCAA tournament or the NFL playoffs, really not even close if you can stay awake through the games.

I am shocked that the three teams that the NBA wanted to advance all won their game 7's.
you think the NBA wanted the clippers to win? Man I could see the league wanted them out to help kill that story
Any conspiracy theories are silly, but I'm absolutely sure that the NBA/ESPN/TNT all want the Clippers to keep winning.

The NBA got some massively positive PR from Silver's presser, and I'd think the Sterling situation is increasing Clipper game ratings by a significant amount.

They are probably even hoping they beat Durant at this point. The best rated NBA Finals would surely be LeBron vs an LA team with Griffin/Paul and a national story drawing interest even from non-basketball fans.

It has nothing to do with wins and losses. It has to do with the development of the team and his interactions with the front office and coaching staff. trying to ban Jerry West from practices; making a show of firing Scalabrine in front of the team and staff when he didn't have the power to do so; shopping himself to the Clips/Nets last offseason. Word on the street is they are looking to land Kerr.

And I don't know if Klay is over rated but he is a top 5 SG.

Woj tweeted that there's not a single person in the GS front office that "will make the case to ownership to keep him." He must be a huge ###.

Yeah I thought Thompson looked good in this series. Was very impressed when he was guarding Paul at the end of game 6 I think it was.

Guarded Blake pretty well on a few times on switches as well

Jackson certainly is weak when it comes to strategy and making adjustments. They should also be a better offensive team given their talent. He may be a great motivator, although that's hard to judge from here.

Add in the reported stuff about how he treats his assistants, Jerry West, etc., and I can see where management is coming from.

Listening to Jackson's "analysis" when he was a TV analyst, I never understood the sentiment that he deserved a head coaching job despite having no experience.

What more do people want? Top 10 in scoring offense and defense. Might only be 12th in offensive efficiency but 3rd in defensive efficiency. So whoever they bring in likely results in a drop defensively. In today's day and age of advanced stats, still seems like people want to sacrifice defense for offense.

And they just took one of the best teams in the league to 7 without Bogut. Looking at the team with or without Bogut, do people really consider this one of the best teams in the league? Seems like they only have 1 superstar in a league where you need at least 2.

I'm a casual fan at best, but how do you ever really get into the NBA when the officiating is so inconsistent? I won't suggest it favours on team over another, though it can appear that way, but from one possession to the next the fouls are called differently.

This is why I stopped watching regularly. The whining by the players, the inconsistent calls, and the lack of toughness really chased me away.

With that said I will watch Spurs today because I took them to win at all when I was in Vegas. Unfortunately, that means I have to watch one of the biggest whiners in Duncan.

I think he is. Always seems to be dinged though. He just got kneed in the thigh and he was acting like Tim Krumrie.

Loved how the Clippers closed out last night. When you beat the double just go to the hoop and score instead of trying to run the clock out.
