In the pantheon of Cavs to hate early, how about Kyrie and his 44 minutes without an assist last night?
To be fair the team did have 6 assists last night. I didn't watch the game, but if Irving has the ball, I'm doing everything in my power on the opposing team to make him or any non-LeBron, non-Love player be the one to take the shot. If that means Irving goes to the rim continually, so be it.
That's what Cleveland has to figure out how to resolve. Simple pick and rolls won't work and it takes time to get the off the ball movement and spacing down to where they can run sets and looks off the initial pick and roll. It takes awhile to figure that out especially with 2 young (some would say hard-headed) guards.
