The Isaiah Thomas signing really turned out great for them. Pissed off Dragic so they had to practically give him away, and then they trade Thomas + a pick for a comparable player in Knight.

No chance. They might win a playoff round if they find their way to the 7 seed and the Raptors hold off the Cavs for the 2 seed and they stay healthy and Whiteside doesn't regress badly and the Raptor guards are cold during the series. But that's a lot of ifs, and that's just to get out of the first round. Atlanta would shred them. Think of what San Antonio did to Miami last season because their style was so well-suited to score on the Heat. This Atlanta team plays exactly like that, and whatever talent differential there might be between 2014 SAS and 2015 ATL is more than neutralized by the one between LeBron James and Goran Dragic.
